It is widely expected the Renzo team will continue to use customer Ferrari equipment, having recently purcahsed all of Team Ultimate's Ferrari assets, which included a similar spec 555 car to the one race by De Graffenried in 1954.

In general, a user can own two separate entities, and occasionally a third one for a special one-off, so you can create Porsche on the side.

However, just to be a bit more realistic, don't make engines just for yourself, it's no fun

Of course it wasn't intended to make engines just for Loyer. Porsche will produce engines for everyone who want's them.

The team is located in Antibes, France.
Not building our in-house engine at the moment, because I'm willing to try to make this team last for a while.

So yes, as far I know, Guidobaldi actually built a car in the 50s, the Guidomobile. It never really raced. The project was pretty much built by a single man and wasn't a success.
Am I crap at writing stories and background ? YES !
Will it be competitive ? Nope.
Will it be mismanaged ? Most likely.
Do we wish to buy your old engines ? YOU BET WE DO. WE WILL BARELY HAVE MONIES !

Ecurie Voeckler cements their 1955 F1 campaign

The small but ambitious garagista outfit Ecurie Voeckler, headed up by major Alsthom stakeholder Jean-Francois Voeckler, have secured the finances require to start up their entry, and have been able to expand on their original plans.

"We might a slight overestimation of the costs to run, and so now we're confident of both entering one car full time, and another at selected events," said Voeckler. "We are very close to having the drivers in place, with Andre Simon hopefully doing the entire year and Etancelin joining us at some races."

The new team will be based out of north-east of Paris, close to both Alsthom HQ and also the Voeckler family home. While the home base has been set up, the cars have not, but Voeckler are not concerned about not having any equipment before the turn of the year.

"We want to take our time and evaluate our options," explained Voeckler. "We will certainly be a customer team to begin with, but perhaps one day we could manufacture our own cars."

"For the sake of convenience, it could be easiest just to buy Gordini equipment, as it's local. But we aren't going to be as close minded - we want to do things right, and will try to get the best we can for what our budget allows."
