There's clearly Watkins Glen and Mont-Tremblant reversed in that track

Another Manx one from me. The Mnax TT track really wouldn't pass FIA inspections and really is too long. But this might be plausible, and aided by having an airfield on the infield, just like Silverstone - plenty of room for a paddock etc. Just needs the roads to be resurfaced and anything else that street tracks need to get to FIA F1 standard. And the island has enough hotel infrastructure - enough for the annual TT and Manx Rally in any case...
Ahh Jurby! The road goes over the airfield at one point doesn't it? I also seem to remember it being rather flat up there...
Yes and yes. I can say that confidently because I was there just a few days ago, returning from the Isle on Tuesday evening! Also a bit quieter up there in terms of population so less disruption to the island and no chance of noise complaints (although if you were to move there, you would have to expect many road closures due to motor racing for a lot of the summer anyway...)

If you are wondering why I didn't post any feedback - I only realized after downoading, that this wasn't an rFactor track by design. Have been looking for a conversion a few times, but didn't seem to find one. Is it already available somewhere?
I haven't found anyone who can convert it to RFactor... do you know someone who might be able to do it?

Here's a big one. It's not really meant for F1 cars, but more for vintage sports cars. It's a tribute to the Targa Florio. I call it the "Milton Migile".

Allow me to pull this thread out of the mire... and not just because it's been linked to on the "Beat Hermann Tilke at his own game" thread.
I've been linked to this interactive map of the London Underground - drawn geographically accurately - and the first thing that jumps out at me is how the Circle Line would make a perfect reject circuit. It's even got station names for all the corners. But no straights.
I'd also planned on making a Nottingham University Grand Prix (and possibly making a few alterations to the road so that the race goes right past my house) with that pedometer application, but I've forgotten what I was going to do with the circuit...

...got it!
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4324110
It might actually be suitable for karts... if the traffic round Clifton Boulevard and University Boulevard could be stopped, and someone dug up the University Boulevard speed cameras. The on-campus section has some marvellously steep hills to tackle, and there is a terrifying drop where the UoN text is.
Here is another circuit of ultimate rejectfulness:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4324119
From the start line, on Middleton Boulevard, through Western Boulevard, Valley Road, Edwards Lane and Oxclose Lane, the first five miles of the circuit is covered by average speed cameras. And there's another load on Mansfield Road, on the section between Haydn Road and Magdala Road. Low speeds, processional races and no overtaking are absolutely guaranteed! Hermann Tilke would be over the moon. Incidentally, Hermann, if you're reading, this is not an invitation to turn parts of Nottingham into another Bahrain.
Hermann Tilke also talks a lot about wanting to make the shape of the circuit fit the character of the place it's being built in, hence the attempt to make the Shanghai circuit look like one of the Chinese characters in the name of the city (which a former Chinese colleague of mine told me was absolutely true, and the Sinopec logo does much the same). No need to call on Hermann for this one, though, because I've also devised a circuit for the Milton Keynes Grand Prix which completely captures everything that this "new city" stands for. Can I have my millions of dollars in royalties, now, Bernie?

Well, it's not actually longer than Pescara. This track is 18km long, Pescara was 26km long.
But yes, this track definitely should be on the calendar!

I like Klon's track actually. Quite a lot in fact. Extend the north-eastern corner to Stresemannplatz and move the start-finish straight to Sophienblatt and I'd like it even more. That takes it to about 4.3km in length, which is pretty spot on for a modern F1 track.
And here's one of mine, in my home town of Sunderland. Including, as a bonus, the roundabout where I once crashed my Mam's car, among other notable features.

Why am I up at three in the morning making reject circuits? Anyway, here are some more in horribly hard to get to places...
Tórshavn, Faroe Islands: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4342924
Yellowknife, NWT, Canada: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4342950
Godthåb/Nuuk, Greenland: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4342957
La Paz, Bolivia: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4342966 - fantastic for turbo engines, and this one is the new Nürburgring - the roads are like spaghetti.
Annoyingly, gmaps-pedometer doesn't work everywhere I want it to; it refuses to accept routes round the perimeter road in Nauru, or the roads round Stanley in the Falkland Islands. And the Nauru circuit would be great, I planned to have the start/finish line right outside the Parliament House, so the pit lane would be shorter than the race track, for extra rejectfulness.

Note: In the roundabout that is "Ferris Wheel Loop" (next to Vienna's Ferris Wheel) the track doesn not actually go right first, just to then turn 180 degrees and go back around the roundabout again. That's just a gmap-bug.

And also some shorter circuits...
Anguilla: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4354750 - contains a corner called "Blowing Point"...
Scarborough, Tobago (not Scarborough, Yorkshire): the map won't draw (same as for Port Stanley) but the circuit is: start on Carrington Street just as it turns SW, right onto Wilson Road, right onto Claude Noel Highway, right onto Bacolet Street, left onto Main Street, I think you can get it right from there.

Re: Reject (or not) track design.
Here is a good reject track in my home town.
URL for this route is: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4355390
Now you ask why is this reject? First is goes through a military base, so every lap there is a security breach. Second the roads where I live are quite narrow so passing is pretty much a no go unless you drive in the grass, or try and get over the curbs. Lastly the turns are narrow so basically almost no one can over take on them.

I've never been to Gibraltar, but having attempted this route, trying a track around this island would need a bit more road construction, but could be fun, closing pretty much the whole country for the race.

Re: Reject (or not) track design.
I've got an idea...How about a national championship? If you want to, you can make a "championship" with gmap-pedometer, while following these four simple rules:
1. there must be between sixteen and twenty races
2. all races must be in the same country
3. the circuits must be street circuits or road circuits built on existing roads
4. the tracks must preferably be in the agglomeration of the top sixteen-twenty cities in that same country population-wise.
With this, here is (of course) the Belgian street championship (in this case, the communes with the highest population will be used), with 19 rounds!
1. Antwerp http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4355985, a quick circuit, slowed by some 90 degree-corners and a chicane in the old city.
2. Ghent http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4356032, a mostly fast and flowing circuit with some fiddly bits towards the end, in an uninspiring scenery, very much like Valencia.
3. Charleroi http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4356049, this one features a go around both sides of a roundabout, giving the track a bag-like shape in the city center.
4. Liege http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4356070, get ready to go flat out in narrow streets as well as wide boulevards lined with trees, as we run into the heart of Liege, taking a detour in front of my school in this 7km circuit crossing bridges four times!
5. Brussels http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4358368, a fairly slow circuit winding through Brussels' historic center, with a straight stretching over more than 1km in a track otherwise full of turns.
6. Bruges http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4358396, to each series its insanely impressive circuit (Liege), and to each series its insanely uninspiring circuit, this one. Quick turns followed by slow hairpins and 90 degree corners.
7. Schaerbeek http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4359680, a very fast circuit, punctuated by some chicanes. Probably the Monza of this championship.
8. Namur http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4359756, a nice break from all the relatively long circuits with a short blast in the city, with a nice long Interlagos-like flat-out section as well as a slow-but-flowing twisting section.
9. Anderlecht http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4359764, a track of three thirds: the first part is quite slow, with two hairpin turns, followed by a part with some right-angled corners, finished with a very quick section back to the start finish line.
10. Leuven http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4359771, it may be long, but the laptimes won't, as a whopping four straight kilometers will be taken flat out around the city's highway, with a difficult infield and a tricky chicane to start the main loop.
11. Mons http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4395229, an incredibly boring circuit despite some fairly quick sections. Overtaking should be possible with some big braking zones.
12. Molenbeek-Saint-Jean http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4395243, a fast circuit with some heavy braking zones. Perfect for overtaking.
13. Mechelen http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4395244, a quick but uneventful track (most of these are pretty much the same).
14. Ixelles
15. Aalst
16. La Louviere
17. Uccles
18. Kortrijk
19. Hasselt
That's all for today, I'll be back with more tracks in the next few days.
1. there must be between sixteen and twenty races
2. all races must be in the same country
3. the circuits must be street circuits or road circuits built on existing roads
4. the tracks must preferably be in the agglomeration of the top sixteen-twenty cities in that same country population-wise.
14. Ixelles
15. Aalst
16. La Louviere
17. Uccles
18. Kortrijk
19. Hasselt

Look at the satellite picture and you'll see that the two ends of what would be a circuit have a huge cliff between them...
I like Tommy's idea of a national championship. But I'll not get round to it just yet...

Is a bridge possible? Or else it'll be a Super Mario Kart track, where you can be carried/go through a wormhole to go from one point to another.... And this thread is called "REJECT track design", after all...
