Mercedes heavily discourage Liqui Target from signing Bertrand Baguette. He is little known and has no experience of racing proper racing cars. We are doing badly, but we don't want to bring the sport into disrepute!

We would ask Liqui Target to be mindful that, after the fifth race of the season, Mercedes are introducing a brand new car, and will also be giving a significant amount of money to both of our teams at the same time. This might ease your financial burden somewhat. Also, it gives me bargaining tools should you decide to hire Baguette...

The stats for the A4 next year will be based off an average of ALL of the teams running Audis right now. So, essentially, all of the audi teams will start with the same stats when the A4 is introduced.

Audi's budget is 3000 EUR, because audi gave 2000 EUR to JLD at the beginning of the season.

In terms of a 100EUR pay driver, it's up to you to choose!

Yes, he is approved, but as a 300DM pay driver instead, because you used a 200 DM pay driver already.

Among the three mentioned, only Burti is considered to be 100 EUR pay driver quality. Enge and Marques are more like 200 EU pay driver quality.

Cecotto got pole position can he finally get points out of it? A somewhat disappointing qualifying performance by the hometeam Belgian VW/Audi club, they qualified 15th and 16th. Bouchut outqualified his teammate Lavaggi in his first qualifying session. Same thing can be said of Coronel outqualifying Heidfeld! But the bigger question remains, can Menu get points after qualifying 4th?

Guess I was surprised, Ickx won, and Cecotto finally gets on the board with a 2nd. Michigami rounds out the podium. Beretta finished 4th, and Rivett scored his first DTM points with a 5th. But the biggest shocker was JLD is finally on the board with a 7th place finish by Biela. Disappointment for Dominic racing tam, sorensen and Liqui target as both of their cars failed to finish!

This result brings new meaning to chasing the rabbit. Beretta not only won the race but also he lapped the entire field! How he did it, is beyond us to figure out! Meanwhile Cecotto finishes 2nd and T. Scheider rounds out the podium. A surprise 4th by Noda is truly a miracle for Dominic racing team. Rivett gets more points for Blokkmonsta, Lavaggi finishes 6th, Biela somehow gets JLD 2 points, and Gounon gets the final point for 8th. I don't know if this is the first time in my Alternate DTM series that someone lapped the whole field, someone might as well check that out!

Warsteiner Renault will spend 250EUR with reliablity and 200 with acceleration

Stuff it, JLD and Audi are going all out for the second half of this year. JLD will make the following upgrades to their cars:

600EUR Reliablity
300EUR Acceleration
300EUR Cornering

Audi will spend the following:
1500EUR Acceleration
1500EUR Cornering

And before I forget, I am proposing a slight change for next season, it is regarding the maximum car stat limit. Right now, the maximum is +20, I am proposing that for next season,the maximum car stat will be reduced to +17, because I am noticing that in the XML file that some drivers stats are already maxed out in acceleration and cornering. What you guys think about this change?

Are all stats for all cars above 10? If so, I say simply knock 10 of each car stat. I think it would be fairer that way, as any percentage based change would see the field spread compressed again, which coupled with the success ballast, would hobble the quicker cars to an extent where any advantage they had built up over the seasons would be diminished to effectively nothing.

Furthermore, maybe there is a way of streamlining the pay driver process, as I think now it slows up season progress a little too much.

Well, it's a great idea to remove 10 off each stat, but I found out that 4 teams do have a stat below 10. How about this, I will remove 10 off each stat after this season is over THEN set the new limit at +17 afterwards?

In terms of pay drivers, yes, I have to admit that the process is kind of slow as of now, I was kind of thinking of having a pay driver pool at the beginning of each season, and maybe teams will select them that way?
