Missed the good sponsor opportunities because monday i went to a concert of Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, and i prefer having actual fun over being competitive. But anyway, instead of gay-punk, back to business now
Ligier:Type 1 Sponsors
Elf (3.5mil)
If this fails:
Goodyear (1mil, team must use Goodyear tires)
Type 2 Sponsors
Winston (0.5mil)
Type 3 Sponsors
Personal (0.4mil)
Tyres: Goodyear. It's a gamble, but at least we'll be sort of a 'works Goodyear team'

The sponsor market is completely free, ya mook. You could have had Parmalat if you'd wanted and been quick enough, instead of lamenting the emptiness of your bank account.

This. I found it slightly confusing at first, but I used my mind and 42 to get some decent sponsors. How else would Coloni have about 1/4 of Ferrari's budget?

Okay, the next thing is engines:
Ferrari V12 1989
Will automatically be the engine for Ferrari
Renault V12 1986, with the turbo removed
Costs 3.5mil, is very fast but unreliable. Can only be 1 team's engine
Lamborghini V12 1989
Costs 3mil, a bit slower than Renault, can only supply 1 team
Honda V12 1988, with no turbo
Fast, costs 2.8mil
Judd V10 1989
Costs 2.5mil, decent pace and reliablity
Mercedes V10 1987
Engine used in the WSC. Costs 2.4mil
Hart V8 1989
Costs 2.3mil, faster but not so reliable than Judd
Cosworth V8 1989
Costs 2mil, slow but reliable
Peugeot V8 1989
A new trier in engines, costs 1mil. Can supply 2 teams

in order of preference
Judd
Hart
Cosworth
Peugeot

Honda and Renault had new engines for 1989, not merely old V6s with turbos removed, FA1L. Anyway, Brabham will go for:
Judd
Mercedes
Although we won't take the Peugeots, can we have specs on their engine?

Renault and Honda ran V6 Turbos, not V10/12s. And Mercedes ran a F12 in the Wsc, and Peugeot ran a V10 not a V8, and not until much later........
And where is Yamaha?
Zakspeed will take Cosworths.
