The Fox responds to testing criticism
In reaction to Rosco Vantini being unhappy about the testing schedule for ArrowTech ART, The Fox defended his decision to leave off Vantini from the ArrowTech open testing. "We can only have two people per two day test," said The Fox in an interview. "Nicolas and Shioya are our main drivers, so they will be at Jerez as usual. For Estoril, Nicolas is comfortable with the car, and the car is similar to last years', so we can put in a test driver in the second car. Since Marie Simon is our reserve, we put her in the car for that test. The original plan had both Rosco and Marie at different times but at the same amount of track time, but the regs only allow two drivers per two day test. I don't like those rules, but I have to comply with it, and I have to pick one driver. I will have to put Vantini in the car during a private test, but that will have to come after the season begins. There is too much snow right now in Canada, and everywhere else is too far for us to justify a quick test session.

Retaining the services of the highly-rated German David Neuberg has been a alongside the acquisition of ex-Formula One driver Nathan McKane on a permanent basis for the new season has been a massive coup for the team, but Knight has asserted that the team will not be resting on it's laurels for the new campaign.

"It's very easy to be over confident at this stage - we have the services of two extremely talented drivers, a great car and engine package, and the addition of several new teams to the grid has eased the stakes in terms of Pre-Qualifying" said a buoyant Knight.

"However, we need to keep moving, need to improve further this season, keep the momentum carrying forward. There's been a lot of questions asked of us in the off-season, 'can we compete in the midfield?', 'can we stay out of Pre-Q?", 'has the team's results merely been a fluke?', and we are very much here to prove we have what it takes to establish ourselves firmly in the midfield.

"The stakes are definitely high. There is a lot of expectation surrounding the team, which puts all of us under pressure - even the postmen. What we cannot do is stagnate, Revolution Engineering style. There was a lot of promise surrounding them, especially last season, a great package and driver in the form of Shizuka. Ultimately their form declined and the expectations proved to be unfounded, it is obvious they do not have what it takes to escape Pre-Qualifying, and that is not a direction I plan nor want to see the team take this year."

POKR have also announced that Martin van der Maeyede will continue with the team as test and reserve driver, alongside Martyn Rietacher.
