www.f1rwrs-game.com wrote:F1RWRS Game FAQ
When will the game be released?
- Somewhere in late October 2014, a more specific date will be announced soon.
Is there going to be a career mode?
- Most certainly, the career mode is the main focus of the game.
Many racing games with a career mode are considered bland because the world never changes except for your driver. Does this hold true for the F1RWRS game?
- No! While it took long negotations, we were able to get an agreement regarding driver changes. You will see drivers move up from F2RWRS and F3RWRS and see some drivers change teams or be forced out of F1RWRS altogether, although these movements will only happen in moderation
The teaser showed a conversation with Daniel Melrose and Kay Lon. Will this be a regular feature?
- Yes, we figured it would be most important to get a grip on the personalities of F1RWRS, perhaps even more so than the driving aspect of it, to have a true experience of racing in the fastest growing series in the world. Your interaction with other drivers and the media may affect your entire career. Saying the right or wrong thing to the right or wrong person may make or break your career in F1RWRS.
Are these conversations voiced?
- Sadly no, since it would be too expensive and tedious to have F1RWRS drivers voice themselves since there is a lot of dialouge, a number of which will only be seen once every thousandth playthrough, and that would not be wise to actually give them all a voice-over.
Will F2RWRS and F3RWRS be in the game?
- Yes, all F2RWRS and F3RWRS teams and drivers in the series on the 1st August 2014 will be in the game with all F2RWRS and F3RWRS rules. However, most of the F2RWRS tracks that are not going alongside F1RWRS Grands Prix - with the exception of the race in Istanbul - are not in the game due to licensing issues. We are currently discussing whether we are going to include them via DLC or not.
Are there any bonus tracks in the game?
- Yes, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with its non-championship F1RWRS race is in the game along with the Hockenheimring as a memorial to the first F1RWRS race. Furthermore, any non-championship races held this or next year will be included in the game via free DLC.
Can we play pre-qualifying?
- Pre-qualifying is an optional feature, you can either run pre-qualifying as it is done in F1RWRS currently or leave it out and have all 40 drivers fight for the 26 grid slots. Obviously, quick races can be done with any team, even those who normally fail to qualify, i.e. Dofasco Racing or Tropico GP.
Since there has been much discussion about the cover, what will it look like?
We will upload a picture of it later this month, however, we can say that it will show both Mark Dagnall and Nathanael Spencer for every region this game is sold in. The only difference lies in the center, where a car of a regional driver is displayed. Here's a list:
US/Canada: Nicolas Steele
South America: Jesus Plaza
United Kingdom: Sammy Jones
Europe: Thomas De Bock
Japan: Barii Mori
Australia: Daniel Melrose
Rest Of The World: Jack Christopherson

I'm letting Albertini to Tropico, but then, I'd like someone get a paydriver for me, please.

The MRT group is willing to lend you either Dean O'Lauchlan or Vidal Reyna-Sanchez (Both are paydrivers with F1RWRS experience) in exchange for someone to take their seat in the Big Car series.

Pippa Mann has received an email claiming to be from the creators of this computer game, claiming that they want a photo of her with Douglas Mann and Ben Fleet to go on the back cover, to emphasis the family-friendlyness of the game. Is this email genuinely from them, or is it spam?

Who are the developers of the game? Because I can suggest Fwifwi Games, a sponsor I made up for

Prince Falik is a spammer? But why would he do that? Such a respectable fellow that he so clearly is...

To clear things up - I'm not a paydriver indeed, but for CEO of big sindicate I am it's not a big deal to pay for my drive. If Tropico can give me anything better than that excuse of a car Shonan DMS has, then I'm more than glad to offer my skills and - as you put it - copious amounts of sponsorship.
I also would like to add that I was asked to be the first driver to give my opinion on the F1RWRS game that is currently developed. I'm not very into games since I'm a busy man, but I certainly know when I see a good one.

Scuderia start Silly Season shenanigans
Scuderia Alitalia has set the ball rolling for the silliest of silly seasons, with various rumours from various sources linking the potential 2015 F1RWRS debutants to pretty much everyone on the grid.
"There are four names I am hearing more than any others in connection to Alitalia; Lon, Older Jr, Fäkkinen and Roda," a mole told us. "No-one in their current pool of drivers is eligible for superlicenses at the moment, and apparently they don't think that will change by next year."
"We all know they have publiclally indicated an interest in Sunshine Infiniti. This includes their current driver Kay Lon. But, the others are less obvious. Darren Older Jr has two advantages - firstly he is experinced, and secondly he brings extra cash to the team, however I would be surprised if they need it. Mika Fäkkinen is a good shout because Alitalia is basically the old Inter Corse team Mika was part of before moving to F1RWRS. He's a known quantity and that may be appealing to them. And lastly, some suggest that having such strong backing from a national Italian airline would put pressure on the management to hire an Italian driver, and there is no better known Italian in F1RWRS than Giovanni Roda - although perhaps for the wrong reasons."
Another insider told us, "The amount of drivers linked to a so far unconfirmed team is quite ridiculous. There is quite a long list of names I've heard are on their shopping list...oh you actually want me to list them? Ok...um...Kay Lon, Giovanni Roda, Mirko Bosevic, Phil McCracken, Shinobu Katajama, Frank Zimmer, John Zimmer, Tristan Jung, Dave Simpson, Gary Cameron, Wouter Lamberigts, Barii Mori, Hagane Shizuka, Sebastian Groves, Alessandro Marchesi, Rosco Vantini, Jack Christopherson Jr...and really, I don't think that's absolutely everyone. As you can see, they seem pretty desperate. I don't know what to make of this, but these are apparently the names Alitalia have already been looking at."
As for the official company statement, team principal Alasdair Lindsay only had this to say; "I have heard a lot of silly rumours floating about. I must admit I spat out my coffee and literally rolled around the floor in a fit of laughter when I heard the names Jacques Villeneuve. Please, we're not desperate, we will never go that low."

changes in Dofasco Racing
3 races and 3 DNPQ, so the results can be summarized team Dofasco Racing,no wonder that the bosses of the team will carry out changes in the team.At the beginning of the team is planning to increase employment in the team, extended team is working on amendments to the current car and will also work on the car in 2015.rumors that the team has come to change the cast of drivers, the point is precisely that Yu Hiang-Hao say goodbye to the team, gossip is that it can replace the pay-driver, or Sebastian Groves who drove in a team already ArrowTech 2013 season in two races but did not find a job for next season, rumors that negotiates with Dofasco.

I've posted it already, but just to confirm, Jean-Luc Schiller of Switzerland will drive for Prospec, replacing Dave Simpson. He is a pay-driver.
Could you clarify the pay-driver rules please Aerond? Is it still the case that a pay-driver has to compete in four events before the team receives any credits, or are pay-driver credits paid per race now?

Pay-driver money is paid every 4 events, but as Mexico is round 4, you'd receive money inmediately, then again at the end of round 8.

In a press conference with ARC CEO Lyle Dalton, Lyle announced that ARC has put the F1RWRS arm of its corporation "on notice" at the moment because of apparent financial difficulties. ARC, a publicly traded company, released its quarterly earnings report last week. Earnings were up, but it appears that ARCF1 (the F1RWRS arm of the corporation) has a budget gap of three million dollars, roughly 2.5 credits. The question is, where did all that money go? ARCF1 has stated that the extra three million dollars were spent in miscellaneous expenses and in driver fees. ARCF1 has also stated that three million dollars is "small change" compared to ARC's total capital. Still, this is the second major scandal to hit the ARC team in two years (after the Tristan Jung debacle) and the leadership of the team has to be in question.

PRESS RELEASE | Lancia launch Young Driver Program
Scuderia Lancia has marked the launch of it's Young Driver initiative by signing F1RWRS driver
Miko Fäkkinen on a pre-contract agreement. The young Finn is driving for Tropico GP this season, and was previously a member of Virgin Inter Corse's young driver squad.
"It is great to bring Miko back 'home' again," said Scuderia Alitalia team principal
Alasdair Lindsay.
"There were certain criteria for Lancia's new young driver programme. They want the team to reflect the ethos of the brand as a whole, and this means striving for excellence in every area. And now we can say that our young driver programme contains a driver with F1RWRS experience, but is still very young and prodigious. I think, regardless of his results this season, he has the potential to improve into an even better driver."From their young driver programme, Lancia will select candidates for various roles in their various Formula Rejects teams, from F1 to F3 and beyond. Fäkkinen's role in the Lancia heirarchy - along with his fellow young drivers - will be confirmed at a later date. Former Formula 1 driver
Marco Apicella has been appointed Head of Youth Developement at Lancia with immediate effect, to help improve the young superstars in the Lancia stable into complete racing drivers.
The Lancia Formula Rejects project is kicking off in other ways too. The prestigious marque has appointed
Andrea Sassetti as Chief Motorsport Manager, and will oversee the running of the team at management level, while Lindsay will focus on the day-to-day running of the team.
Meanwhile, Scuderia Alitalia have signed agreements with both Dallara Automobili S.p.A. and Wirth Research Ltd. to help aid the development of their F1RWRS, F2RWRS, F3RWRS and FRBCC cars.
"Everything is coming together nicely now...," a smirking Andrea Sassetti commented.

There is no F2RWRS Commission. As the head of the F1RWRS commision, Aerond technically can demand rule changes as he runs the F1RWRS (like he did with the driver restrictions earlier today) and it was agreed to several months ago that the F2RWRS would be a spec-series.
