Kay Lon wrote:That was a disappointing race. Fredo retired sadly while looking certain to steal a points finish, this would have been a valueable result for the team. My race was pretty much ruined the moment my electronics completely stopped working, a decent strategy at least didn't made me finish last and that last move against Nathan Scott was pretty nice. Oh, wasn't shown on TV? That's not good, it looked decent from my point of view. We now have to take the knowledge we have gotten over the full race distance to qualify in Monaco and if we achieve that everything is possible, that will be the toughest event of the season.

You don't want to know.

With her suspension to be complete after the San Marino GP, rumours are abound to where double race winner and only other driver to get a hat trick in F1RWRS, Shinobu Katayama will go. Strong rumours are that she has appologised and will be back in the Sunshine car, another rumour is that she has signed for Revolution and will race for them, with even another rumour being that she has signed for Tropico. However Sunshine, Tropico and Revolution has been quiet on this front.

I meant that I don't really have time to start the thread and make a template in time for Imola, I can run it in time for round 4 though.
If we have it for Monaco that's totally fineIMO is a little bit late to run this for Imola. I think predicament prediction time limit should be when PreQualifying results for a race are published. Now, here is what I think predicament predictions should include:
Top 6
Pole
PreQ Pole
Fastest Lap
First retirement
ROTR
DOTR
MLP
DNQ drivers
I don't include IIDOTR or DBTMOTR because I don't think is that measurable now.

Do you mind if I expand the top 6 to the top 8 or 10? I think it will be interesting to predict who just misses out on points.

I have a better idea; We can add an "Unlucky Bastard" category to guess who'll finish 7th
Foxdale Auto Racing Team Press Release wrote:Mid-Season Tests for the team announced
In an unusual move, Foxdale have decided to run two tests between the Mediterranean and Monaco GPs. The first will be at Imola on 1st April 2015, and the second will be at Rockingham Motor Speedway, England on 6th April 2012. Both tests will have the same six Foxdale-affliated drivers attending: Douglas Mann, Martin McFry (both currently F1RWRS Foxdale drivers), Peter Port, Jordan Davies (driving for Foxdale's F3RWRS junior team, West Cliff Racing), Pippa Mann (Foxdale team boss) and Ben Fleet (the boyfriend of Pippa Mann). The first test at Imola is to give Ben Fleet a 'warm-up' before his Alitalia test and a useful comparison between the Foxdale drivers and the Alitalia drivers, then the second test is a run at their 'home' track to give some target times for future tests.
Foxdale is sure that there is nothing in the regulations to prevent two tests in quick succession, and is grateful to the team mechanics to agree to covering these tests. Foxdale has agreed with the mechanics to not run any other tests until after the Austrian GP at the end of July in exchange for this currently hectic schedule.

Hmm, yes. That is a problem. Do you think they could make it back for 6th April?

The 6th might be a stretch but I guess it shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
Pippa Mann wrote:Well, the last thing I wanted today was a problem with my wheel nuts, but that was exactly what I got. Glad to see Mr McFry score a point in the Foxdale - it's a different car to what we had a few years ago, but at least we are scoring points a bit more often, even if they are smaller points each time.
Daniel Melrose wrote:Having one of our cars have a catastrophic electrical failure two laps before the end is a damn shame and a massive hit on the early advantage that we held in both championships up till that point. However, we're still ahead in both titles heading into Monaco which I'm sure will be one hell of a race. And finally, we will put David Neuberg in the car for the three North-American rounds pending Mr Alexander's approval when he returns from his promotional tour of Egypt. And for the record, we did tell NIcolas after the first lap that Rhys was behind him but we left it up to him as to whether he wanted to let him through or not.
Kollin Holles wrote:Andrea had a good race and he could have scored points if the hadn't been an electrical glitch midrace. We were quite disappointed with Nathanael's performance and we have decided to sit him out for the North American rounds. That means Jari Kekkonen will drive for the Mexican, USA and Canadian GPs while Spencer will drive at the European rounds.

Phoenix wrote:Aeroracing would like to know if they could test with Foxdale at Rockingham on April 6th. Since Pippa Mann, Aeroracing's lead driver, will be already there with Foxdale, it would be a good occasion for her to compare the performance differencies between our car and the Foxdale. Our line-up for the test, provisional, would be:
-Pippa Mann (pending confirmation from both her part and Foxdale's for testing at the same day).
-The Stig.
-Tanner Jason.
-Nick Nurmester.
-Judd McAllister (pending confirmation from BITWM).
Other drivers from F2RWRS and F3RWRS that might be interested in testing can ask for a seat until availability is complete.
Sammy Jones wrote:Electrics problems early on for me put paid to any good result I was hoping to get, but I'm pleased that I was still able to get the car to the finish, and within the top 10 too. Rosco continues to go from strength to strength and another haul of points is a great result for him and the team. Overall we didn't have the ultimate pace to quite match the frontrunners, but to still come away with some solid points is exactly what we needed. To have off days like this and still get a result is the sort of form championship challenges are made of. I'm hoping that our performance in Monaco will be reminiscent of last year when I won, and as we go testing in the meantime, I'm confident we'll find the car improvements to justify that ambition.
Barii Mori wrote:Again, another disappointment for us. Steele was cruising for a podium before his suspension failed and I had yet another transmission failure. We have to stop our run of bad luck, we effectively have 6 retirements out of 3 races, however our luck must change soon. We are not looking like Foxdale did back in 2013. We have the raw pace and I believe that we can still end up as 3rd or 4th best team this season and we will still get our win. I apologise to Steele and we will work hard on the car.
