If it was Hamilton, he would have run over it. If it was Vettel, he would have pointed his finger at it in anger. If it was Alonso, he would have asked it to move out of the way not very politely. If it was Schumacher, he would have cut the corner. If it was Barrichello, he would have waited for it to cross the track completely. If it was Sutil, he would have glassed it. If it was Karthikeyan, he would have paid it to get out of his way. If it was Bruno Senna, he would have run over it at full speed, destroyed his car, then furiously exited his car and yelled at his team engineer about track security If it was Vitaly Petrov, he would have used the kerb to jump over it
Heikki is special. Very special indeed.
If it was Massa he would of let it past because it was faster than him....
Bertrand Gachot's words were gold stuff, saying his F3000 pole time at that circuit in 1987 was faster than the time he managed with the Coloni F1, and that the car was "much too heavy" and was confident they could qualify for Germany. Also, they misspelled Coloni for "Colini"

Did Coloni qualify for a single race in 1990? I know they didn't in 1991.

Regrettably no.

An offroader as a safety car!! Which bright German thought that would be a good idea. Just imagine one wallowing around Monaco almost rolling through Rascasse

Only thing better would be if Ford brought a bright red F150 truck to be the safety car at Monza.

Wouldn't it be called a "safety truck" rather than a safety car?

Did that guy think he could outrun an F1 car? Natural selection (not quite) at work...

A Funai SUPER AGURI, driven by Satoshi Motoyama (arguably one of the best driver Japan has ever produced)? Only bettered by Yuji Ide. And Katsutomo Kaneishi's drive in that race was quite epic, too.

You're totally right. RIP Takashi Yokoyama.
Really, really freak accident. Happened in my sight. Very traumatizing for a five-years-old (at that time). Let's just say, one thing I'll never forget that day (even if I want to - and I want to forget that) is the sight of his body lying on the track, period.

I remember watching this race and seeing his car there from about lap 3 onwards and always wondered what happened. Thanks, 10 years of head scratching put to rest lol

Kapow! Thousandth post on this thread! And for that, I give you: my tour of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit three years ago. This video contains terrible impressions of Murray Walker, and also me. Hence it may not be suitable for small children or those of a nervous disposition.
