If it was Bruno Senna, he would have run over it at full speed, destroyed his car, then furiously exited his car and yelled at his team engineer about track security
If it was Vitaly Petrov, he would have used the kerb to jump over it

Heikki is special. Very special indeed.

If it was Massa he would of let it past because it was faster than him....

Also, a 14 minute Pre-Qualifying report from the 1989 Monaco Grand Prix, albeit in German. (I think)

Bertrand Gachot's words were gold stuff, saying his F3000 pole time at that circuit in 1987 was faster than the time he managed with the Coloni F1, and that the car was "much too heavy" and was confident they could qualify for Germany. Also, they misspelled Coloni for "Colini"

Did Coloni qualify for a single race in 1990? I know they didn't in 1991.

Well, look what I've found - shots of the 1978 Monaco GP prequalifying. Not great, I know, but rare nevertheless.

An offroader as a safety car!! Which bright German thought that would be a good idea. Just imagine one wallowing around Monaco almost rolling through Rascasse

Only thing better would be if Ford brought a bright red F150 truck to be the safety car at Monza.

Wouldn't it be called a "safety truck" rather than a safety car?

A Funai SUPER AGURI, driven by Satoshi Motoyama (arguably one of the best driver Japan has ever produced)? Only bettered by Yuji Ide.
And Katsutomo Kaneishi's drive in that race was quite epic, too.

Really, really freak accident. Happened in my sight. Very traumatizing for a five-years-old (at that time). Let's just say, one thing I'll never forget that day (even if I want to - and I want to forget that) is the sight of his body lying on the track, period.
