It worked for me. That signature makes him look suspicious.

Speaking of previews, I present you with my prediction of each team's relative performance in 2010:

Very droll.
On another note, does anybody else want to take a punt at what the 2010 season may look like?

Happy to say that the F1 Rejects season preview has been written, so hopefully it can be put up early next week, although Jamie is flying to the UK for a conference so I don't know how he'll go with that.

If he can't put it up I'll upload the full text of it onto this forum.

You should see what drivel I've written for some teams ... especially Virgin ...

I'm guessing then that it may be unlikely that we will have a season preview podcast?

At least we have a new driver profile...
My 2 cents on how 2010 will be:
-Ferrari: competitive, good chances to fight for the title, even with Massa and Alonso hitting each other (Mansell and Piquet got it right in 1987 despite being enemies...)
-McLaren: same as Ferrari.
-Mercedes: outsiders.
-Red Bull: fastest of the bunch for the first half of the season, then only fast. Reliability will be an issue.
-Sauber: outsiders, battling with Mercedes (Kobayashi vs Schumacher FTW)
-Force India: regular points scorers, odd podium here and there.
-Toro Rosso: regular points scorers.
-Renault: points scorers only with Kubica. Petrov will struggle.
-Williams: regular points scorers, maybe the odd podium.
-Virgin: slow, not very reliable, but they could score the odd point.
-Lotus: slow, but very reliable. Maybe the odd points in attrition races.
-Hispania: desperately slow and unreliable, but at least they'll be there, unlike USF1. Maybe they won't survive until the end.

Teams: Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull
What they need to do for a "good season": Win one or both of the world titles.
What they need to avoid for a "bad season": Finish 3rd or lower.
Despite some of the publicocrap that MGP are a "new team" they are reigning double champions anything less than a world title would be a failure. RBR will look to build on 2009, where they finished the season as the fastest team, moneybags Mateschitz expects a world title this year. For Ferrari and McLaren its business as usual.

Teams: Renault, Williams, Sauber
Good season: Consistent points, maybe podiums or even a win.
Bad season: Falling behind STR or Force India.
None of this trio had a good 2009, Williams and Sauber have looked good in testing, and will hope to progress beyond the midield. Renault havn't looked so good, but this is a team which won four championships in 05-06, they must show progress if they are to survive in their current form.

Teams: Torro Rosso, Force India
Good season: Consistent points, get firmly into the above midfield battle.
Bad season: Fall behind one of the new teams.
Both STR and Force India have showed promise in recent years, but are still regarded as F1 minnows. Force India have looked promising in testing and I was tempted to lump them in the group above. STR have looked less convincing....

Teams: Virgin, Lotus
Good season: #1 rookie team.
Bad season: Beaten by Hispania, not making it to 2011.
Could be a close one between these two, Virgin look slightly quicker but Lotus seems more reliable and seems to have more credibility in its staff. Top rookie team is a realistic goal for both but neither can expect much more.

Team: Hispania
Good season: Make it to 2011.
Bad season: Anything else.
With no testing and shaky finance, Hispania must look to survive this year before they can think of progressing.

Teams: USF1, StefanGP
Good season: 2011 Gridspot.
Bad season: Anything else.
With the news in recent weeks that USF1 want to defer entry, and rumours about StefanGP's (lack of) money, I don't think either will be around in 2011.

P.S Anything that falls between good season and bad season is a "meh" season, like williams have been having for years now.

Well, I do have mental plans for what my rejectful stop-motion "video" reviews of the races will look like, so at the moment my punt would involve lots of coloured paper and possibly some marbles...

Great review IdeFan. Just a question here. Lotus and Virgin seem quite good. Will Hispaina get better? And do they have the funds for the season? Theirs not dout the car isn't too bad as Dallara are a sucessful team in other forms of motorsport and having Geoff Wills is a big start but could Hispaina suprise this year?

Could the vacuum pump be used to reduce the drag created from the cars in order to increase overtaking?
