What current drivers will leave F1 as rejects?
Only Sutil, Buemi, and Bourdais are currently eligible. Do any of them have a future?
Force India are a reject team at the moment. Just saying.

Re: Current Rejects
I think Sutil is for Force India (don't forget he was at Spyker) what Pierluigi Martini was for Minardi. I don't see him going to a better team, or Force India dropping a driver that's excellent when there's rain. I believe he only needs a lucky rainy race to escape reject status.
Buemi has the stuff to be successful. I have a lot of faith in him.
Unlike Bourdais. If he doesn't score again, I doubt he'll be in F1 in 2010. Unless one of those newbie teams decides to hire him just to say they have one experienced driver, like Pacific with Gachot.

Re: Current Rejects
I believe Nakajima is a reject aswell and I don't see much of a future for him. I know Williams gets free Toyota engines because of him but his lack of talent will probably show him the door probably before the end of this year.
Oh btw, is it just me or does Kaz's Nakajima F1 career remind me exactly of his father's in that they both have had a Japanese engine deal. Was always off the pace of his teammate granted Soturu's first two teammates were Ayrton Senna and Nelson Piquet at Lotus. Were a bit accident prone and yet could get through high attrition races aswell.

Re: Current Rejects
I defintely see a future for Buemi in Formula 1 - I think he's doing a great job for his first season and has completely out-classed Bourdais.
Buemi's managed to make it into Q3 and has scored points twice, although both don't count under the old points system, but they're points nonetheless!

F1rejects no.1Räikkönen and Vettel fan.
BTW, thats Räikkönen with two K's and two N's. Not Raikonnen (Raikkonen is fine if you have no umlauts though)

Sorry for the noob question, but are rejectdom eligibility rules changed with the new points system? The Drivers Index page still says
All a former Formula One driver needs to do to escape eligibility for this site is to have been successful in F1. Specifically, they must have scored ...
• a 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st place, or
• a 5th place, plus any other top-6 result, or
• three or more 6th places
so Nakajima is still a reject, having scored only one 6th, two 7th and two 8th.
I think this would be more fair to the drivers that ran with the old points system.
By the way, I think that Bourdais is the most likely to have a profile on the site: Buemi is performing well and may switch to a better team next year, Sutil may have some big wet races, Nakajima has a decent car and only need a 5th to escape eligibility.
Sorry guys, I had a little outing.

The website still runs off the old points system - the new / current system makes it easier to escape Reject status and doesn't lend itself to proper comparison with the drivers already profiled using the older system.
