Pirelli next year, what size?

Post by Chewie »

15" or 18"?

I seem to remember they wanted to run bigger rims; anyone know if that will be the case?
How ironic; Alonso loses because the Renault in front of him doesn't crash, or indeed feel inclined to pull over and let him pass!!!

IIRC, it was Michelin who wanted to force a move into bigger rims.

I believe they're sticking with 15" rims for now, but are considering 18" wheels in 2013 with the big rule changes.

And after the critism of the Imperial system on the Richter Scale thread, just to prove that the most high-tech sport in the world still uses a bit of imperalism.
