How comes they don't have a profile?
they are rejects if i'm not mistaken (and one of the most competent reject teams)...

There is already a discussion about that in this
thread. It is still a missing profile.

Zakspeed was in very advanced talks to buy Arrows in late 1998, but ultimately it didn't happen. Malik Ado Ibrahim entered the picture and a deal was struck with him.
Flavio Briatore was acting as a consultant to Zakspeed during the talks.

It is - unfortunately, due to personal commitments, I have been unable to work on a Zakspeed profile for some time (and, since they lasted for a fair few years, it's quite a bit more involving than the previous entry I did on Aston Martin). I cannot promise anything - I'd like to get around to finishing the article, but cannot say when, or even if, it will be finished.

Intersting - do you happen to know why the talks failed? Was it a matter of finance, management issues, or something else entirely?

As far as i know the deal didn't came, because that prince had a huge offer for arrows in the name of T-minus ofcourse this was all bluff and since september 99 no one ever saw him again.
Would be nice to know why it exactly didn't go to Zakspeed.
Maybe i need to call some one from Zakspeed =)

I was going to do an article at one stage specifically on Martin Brundle's year at Zakspeed, but never got around to doing anything on it...

oh well

it's just that i find the team interesting for trying "all inside" development a la ferrari and for being reject due mostly due to bad luck with all those 7th places the gathered...
still, move your A** mario
PS can someone show the post i made about langes to the mods? it might contain extra infos about a reject worthy to be inserted.

Good find. IIRC, it was all down to money.

Surely if Zakspeed get a profile on here, AGS and Osella should too.

It's actually three months since I said I'd have a crack at the AGS profile... it's... well, I will do it eventually, put it that way. Then, says Enoch, there'll be another delay as he adds in all the bits and pieces he wants to.
One day...

Then again, they've been on about a Danny Ongais profile for a long time.

I've been researching Ongais' career sporadically and was hoping to have something done by June, but this month I've pretty much been sick non-stop and to say my work has been stressful has been an understatement. Jamie is still AWOL as well because of the demands of the Australian rugby season at this time of year.
