Thank you very much! It was an award I was looking for almost my entire career. I want to thank my family and other forum members because without them this would not be possible! I hope I made Captain proud since he is an absolute legend in this art! Rock on!
Now, seriously, it is not like the man (Saward) has been hitting on its predictions. Nevertheless I continue to enjoy most of his posts.

This begs the question: if F1 is eventually recognized as an Olympic sport, which F1 cars would be used for the races? And... would there be obstacle F1 races?

Well, since Olympics are about competing on equal terms, they would have to make an olympic car or just put some restrictions on existing cars.
Obstacle F1 races? I can totally see it - Formula One 300km hurdles

That thing about special Olympic F1 cars would be interesting. How would they look like? Would they be faster than the fastest F1 car on that year?
I do not think they should be special. I say they will should build replicas of the worst car on the track for all the drivers and then do the Olympic race!

I always thought they would look like the Stadium Car from Trackmania Nations:

The Olympics are essentially competition between nations. So it would have to be something akin to A1GP.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Race of Champions (running a variety of road cars and road based race cars), but not in a stadium. A bespoke single seater (a la A1GP or Superleague) is expensive not only to have built but also to run, you need a full team of mechanics for every car. Running only every four years seriously affects the potential returns that can be made, even if Olympic participation raises the profile.
Running production cars like the Race of Champions is significantly cheaper and gives sportscar manufacturers an easier chance to tie in, building 25+ single seaters is a huge job, getting 25 Ferraris is much easier.
Converting a stadium to a racetrack is a huge job and probably not doable when you also need it for athletics, so running on a local circuit (not a problem for most host cities) or a street circuit seems like a better idea.

i think it will be divided into categories, all teams the same cars (though they can be manufactured by different factories, a bit like bobsledding), but different cars for different categories
-Grand Prix, F1-style cars, races of similar length to F1
-Endurance, Le mans or GT2-style cars
-Sprint, Touring car or GT4-style cars
-Rally, Rally cars, obviously
-Rallycross, can be done in a race of the champions format, or in a traditional rallycross-style.
also involving similar categories with motorbikes
This would also need to have some 'world championship' races over the year, to know which nations can qualify, and that might be the real problem...

There are two solutions that I see other than a RoC style competition. That is the Olympic Medal in motorsport which could pit drivers from all classes from all over the world (i.e. be open to everyone who FIA/IOC deems to have reached the minimums, which are to be decided). The first is the construction of a grade-2 circuit and drivers would drive GP2-like cars (quite expensive), but my preferred requires the construction of a kart circuit either circuit style or in a stadium which will pit the best drivers (those who made the minimums whatever they are) in several legs against each other driving superkarts or KF1s.

I've ocassionally seen one drive round my home town... Only two or three times, mind you, but still. About twice as often as I've seen DeLoreans in other words. (And I live within 5 miles or so of PJ Grady of Europe...).
