Today we do not remember the passing of Gilles Villeneuve but we commemorate the birth of his Legend.

In Fiorano today, Jacques Villeneuve will be driving his father's 1979 Ferrari 312T4 around the circuit in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of his father's passing.

I always try use #27 with my Scuderia Alitalia virtual team in memory of him. A pure racer, one of the rare breed along with Jim Clark. RIP Gilles Villeneuve.

Not for nothing did I once name a Fantasy F1 series after GIlles Villeneuve, before this forum existed. Not for nothing did I pick him as a driver to revive for the first F1RMGP season.

That is epic, unfortunately I am way too young to have ever seen him race live.

Never forgotten and will forever be in our memories.
