The BetClic isn't that bad a car. A little bland perhaps. A block of white on top of a block of black isn't brilliant, but i've seen worse on here.
And year, Pasta_Maldonado makes some great looking cars!

I think the criticism comes from the fact the car has BetClic logos, and BetClic sponsors AC Milan

I'm not very good at making liveries. But if I was, I'd try and make a Visa-themed livery, with HTC and bwin.party as secondary sponsors.

Bloody heck, those are great liveries. I doubt I could make anything useful on there except for GP2.
Well, here I go...

Incorrect.
The car is black and white and sponsored by BetClic. As are Juventus (not AC Milan). I hate those disgusting cheating mafioso several times over compared to the Rossoneri.

Livery design, eh?
Eitt, tveir, þrir, fjórir on the way. Some were inspired by the original teams, some weren't, all of them were a solo effort, and if any of you think I'm moving into 3D models for a series where nobody can see what's going on behind the scenes, think again, because this is enough effort as it is!

Re: Livery Design thread - showcase your talent!
Alright, here's how I'm seeing this full livery playing out. I can't draw, so I'll have to describe it:
Primary Sponsors
- Visa
Secondary Sponsors
- bwin.party Digital Entertainment
- HTC
- Clarion
Minor Sponsors
- Mapfre
- Avintia
Technical Partners
- Statoil
- ZARA
The design itself is very similar to the Minardi M197. However, there is less yellow and white, and a lot of light blue (which has replaced the black). The design follows the lines of the car a lot more than the M197 design. Visa is the major sponsor, occupying the nose, engine cowling and rear wing. bwin.party fills the sidepods and the front wing, while HTC logos appear in the space between the front wheels and the sidepods. The Clarion name appears on the front and rear wing endplates. The other sponsors appear with minor branding all over the car.
***
Also, if anyone wants a truly Rejectful sponsor, I recomments Moldavian mobile phone operator Eventis, which abruptly and inexplicably stopped all of its services in February 2011. No warning was given at the time, and no explanation has ever been offered. Every single mobile phone on the Eventis network just stopped working.

Ok, so here's a base livery for Captain Hammer's request which is by no means perfect (some details don't quite line up and it strays a bit too far from the requested M197 design). I just want some feedback before placing the logos, as well as a number for the car before finishing it.
This is a cool spot.

It looks fantastic, but the blue should probably be a bit darker. This is the Visa logo, so these are the colours I envisioned:
I was also thinking that the front wing and the struts connecting it to the nose would also be blue. Everything on the nose from the trailing edge of the strut to the very front of the car would also be blue, as would the entire engine cowling and airbox assembly. But these are minor details.
As for the sponsors, I thought that the Visa logos appearing on the nose would be the "More people go with Visa" slogan rather than simple Visa logos.

I've always wondered what a Martini-sponsored Formula 1 car would look like.
I figure it would sort of look like this Force India, with a red nose, cockpit and engine cover:
The ribbons of light and dark blue would sort of fan out across the top of the sidepods.
Black trim around the bottom of the car.
In terms of sponsors:
- Martini logos on the sidepods and front side of the rear wing.
- Aerolíneas Argentinas on the engine cover and front wing endplates.
- Tuenti in the space between the sidepod and front wheel, and on the back side of the rear wing.
- Alpinestars on the upright fin mounted to the sidepod.
- The Star (Australian casino) on the rear wing endplates.
- And since it's a Martini Racing car, it carries a Lancia badge.

*e-hugs*
I love it!
I swear I wasn't angling for someone to draw up a livery for me when I first suggested it, but it looks fantastic. The only changes I would make are 1) a slightly larger Visa logo, repositioned to be horizontal (as opposed to the angle it is at now), 2) a larger bwin.party logo (perhaps if there was no blue on the sidepod, allowing for more white space on the sidepod) and 3) shorten the yellow bit on the nose a little so that the blue uprights holding the front wing in place merge seamlessly with the blue on top of the nose.
But seriously, these are minor quibbles. It's almost exactly how I pictured it in my mind. Better, since it never occurred to me to put that blue line between the white and the yellow along the bottom of the car.
And I know I sound painful like this, but it could probably do with an engine badge somewhere on the car. Perhaps in the space where Williams have their PDVSA logo. I'm thinking of something unique, an engine supplier that might buy the naming rights to the PURE engine. Maybe De Tomaso.

Beleive it or not, there is some yellow on there, it's just practically invisible doubling the thickness of the existing yellow and adding some to the area around the cockpit and engine cocer should do the trick.

Would somebody maybe like to try their hand at this one?
And possibly a Claro-Lucozade McLaren. There is speculation that Vodafone could terminate their McLaren sponsorship at the end of the year, or choose not to renew it at the end of 2013. In that case, I could see Carlos Slim and McLaren working on getting Sergio Perez out of his Ferrari development contract and into the McLaren.

Considering what Vodafone did to the team that's dominating the V8 Supercars Championship, that's actually not beyond the realms of possibility.

Except that while Vodafone sponsor McLaren, Vodafone Australia sponsor Triple Eight. Vodafone Australia is a subsidiary of Vodafone, so the decisions they make don't really influence company policy.
But if it does happen, and if Hamilton leaves McLaren, then I can see Perez going there. He's not going to wait around forever to get a seat with Ferrari, least of all when there is a front-running seat available elsewhere.

Unless of course the decision was made above Vodafone AU's heads and the company is reviewing their worldwide sponsorship portfolio, including that of their subsiduaries.

Nope, the decision was made by Vodafone Australia, and had apparently been coming for some time. The team they sponsor - Triple Eight - knew about it from mid-March.

Well, Kostas22 made this for RoLFS, and while it doesn't follow the guidelines you set, I think it's pretty good:
Sadly, he decided to ditch that in favor of MasterCard Lola and only uses the above livery at one round of the season.
