If there is already a thread dedicated to the Bard of twitter my apologies. If not, here's a recent gem.

@takiinoue: All the best to @MikeGascoyne for his success in Trans-Atlantic Solo sailing. For sure, his best friend will be his right hand.

@takiinoue: I stopped eating properly. I drink properly. The consequence is my brain is getting f*cked. But I believe my spirit is still very strong!

@takiinoue: Some people want to compare me and Mr.Ide. But I don't like it. Believe me! I'm far Sh#tter than him by miles away! No one competes with me!

Been thinking we need an F1 tweet thread for a while.

@takiinoue: No electricity since early this morning due to fire near my apartment. No wifi, no coffee, no heater. But my right hand still works.

@takiinoue: What? Charles Pic has officially been passed on seventy occasions as a record. More than me? Impossible! How?

Followed by:

@takiinoue: Oh, I see. I was most of the time in the gravel. That's why even Michael couldn't overtake me during race.

Either that or he's a ridiculously heavy drinker. Or, as we'd like to call it here in Australia, the average drinker.

Which would actually go a long way to explaining all the ridiculous posts on his twitter account.

What a guy!

However, how does he afford to live in Monaco? I thought I read that he doesn't have a job.

I think he really is humble. The tone of even the non-hilarious tweets he does seem to suggest such.

410 euros a day? o.O
Maybe he was better as a F1 driver rather than in mathematics?
Or does he drink more than Raikkonen?

Anyway by reading his tweets he seems to me a really nice guy. ;)

it is worth google translating the Japanese tweets as some are quite funny. Especially the one where he comments about the Kobayashi fund wrist bands, saying that they are nice but all he could afford to donate was 10 yen...
