HRT are bought by Bill Gates and Carlos Slim, are able to hire Adrian Newey and Ross Brawn together, get Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso together, and dominate the 2013 season, only for both drivers to lose out in the final round in Brazil by a solitary point, 1986/2007/2008 style...

Erik Jones, a 16 year old driver from the very small town of Byron, Michigan (not even an hour away from me) defeats a certain NASCAR driver who has grossed 45 million dollars in winnings. A 16 year old defeated Kyle Busch in a race. This is most certainly a sign of the apocalypse or at least a driver who rivals or is even greater than Kyle Busch in talent. And Busch has won 105 times in his NASCAR career in the top three series of NASCAR in the last 9 years.

Remember that you get a free rubber duck if you decide to take a TV.

Queens Park Rangers actually won a match yesterday, surely a sign of the apocalypse. Strangely, Richie and Eddie from Bottom in the video above are QPR fans.

Almost as alarming as a 16 year old defeating NASCAR's 3rd best driver of all time when it comes to wins. Boy, this is going to be fascinating to see if I wake up on December 22nd and everything will be alright.

Some aliens came in the 21st of December and challenged us, Mankind, to participate in some kind of Intergalactic Formula 1 in which the most fastest ships of this side of the universe, powered by anti-matter fuelled engines making these spaceships deadly on impact, are used. They settled that the home straight would be between Venus and Earth and after which they placed a tight chicane between the Moon and the Earth in order to 'improve the show' (in alien words). The rest of it went around the Solar System and back to Sun while passing mighty close to some of the largest Kuiper belt asteroids. Unfortunately for us, the aliens only started to catch transmissions from Earth the weekend before the 21st and they absolutely insisted that Romain Grosjean would be our representative. The whole competition ends in disaster for us when, after a standing start, our Romain gets tangled in yet another first lap shenanigan and causes two or three cars to crash into Earth. Still he manages to finish the race though, despite all the space 'debris' in the first chicane. Because the alien crowd was absolutely thrilled with this, the promoters promised to what is now the only Human left in the Universe that they would rebuild his birth planet and populate it again with the same consciences that existed right before the race but in new improved bodies. Which makes the whole thing more annoying because, as they worshipped so much our Grosjean, we are now all clones of him, incluiding the genetic engineered female versions, making what is now called Grokind. So, despite our awesome hair, we now tend to crash randomly into others a few times a day making me which the 21st had never happened.

I initially thought this was based off Nitros Oxide from Crash Team Racing after the first line, then I found out I was wrong.

Still an awesome post though.

Many Britons, unfortunately, were unable to witness the first lap accident that ended the world due to the BBC choosing to delay the broadcast of the race in favor of other programs. Those few that chose to pay for Sky Sports, however, did see live coverage of the race, and thus had time to rush into their Grosjean-proof underground bunkers. But, several feet of dirt could stop the shenanigans of the Romain Grosjean...

Eurobrun, you may want to rethink your plan of spamming that forum in your signature on the 22nd. They've shut it down, probably because they've finally realised what a colossal bunch of clots they all look.

After SURVIVING this coming Friday, I plan to spend the 22nd recovering from an hangover and wondering how on earth it can be 10 years since the death of Joe Strummer. :|
