Grand Prix Rejects

Le Mans 24 Hour Festival Of Speed, also known as the Lelmans 24, is a celebration of all things racing.

The only entry requirement is that the car must have working headlights (as the race does go into the night of course) and must be available on Rfactor (the game the race will be simmed on.)

The big twist is that the ultimate winner of the race isn't the car that finishes the race first, but the car that makes up the most places from qualifying. So you need to think of something that will be slow over 1 lap but steady over a race distance.

Of course there will also be a trophy for overall winner too, if that is what you are into...
There will also be a team trophy which will go to the team with the most combined places gained.

Teams can run multiple cars, at the moment I am limiting entry to 3 vehicles per team. If you can't find a specific mod for the car you want, let me know and I can look to find things similar.

All 3 mods work correctly and all 3 cars have working headlights. Note for others there are multiple Berlingo and NSX variations, with NSX having a race and street varient of the cars.

The LMS LE mod is actually a collection of prototypes, namely the Audi R8, The Bently Speed 8, Dome, Courage and Lola entries. So which one you want?
The Zonda is fine. Whilst the Euskadi no longer has a download link attached, but no worries you can enter another 1 from the first mod (even 2 of the same car if you wish)

None of the buses in the bus tour mod have headlights (as I have since found out!) but the other 2 buses do so should be good to go.

I am working through the pile guys, I like the variety so far.

The Golf and Panoz are in, however the Osella does not have headlights, so as awesome as it is, can not be entered.

There are actually multiple versions of the DeLorean DMC from the BTTFM, including the flying car! But I will assume you want a grounded one!
I have actually found a Twingo mod, but it is for the sporty RS version . Nothing at all for Morris I'm afraid, perhaps another DeLorean will do

The insane Zero is allowed. The equally insane but other side of the speed spectrum Fusca is also A-OK. Side Car racing for 24 hours would be interesting however, there are no headlights on the bike so It can't be race, sorry about that.

If not, then a flying DeLorean will do! And I'll be damned if that car gets any tyre wear or a puncture!

I apologise for delays, some of these mods don't seem to work well with each other and previously working ones no longer do, I have opened a clean instal of Rfactor but as it is now it might be tricky for this to go ahead... I am working on it.

I can tell you from direct experience of AutoReject Indy World Cup's testing programme of the new 2017 car, which uses the X1 mod, that it is not slower. It will hit 290mph down the Mulsanne.

Ok, I must admit, I am having problems running this, hitting multiple errors when trying to run mods together. But I will try to get a 24 hour race going.

The plan now will be to run a single Rfactor mod that offers a wide selection of cars to chose from, perhaps the Citroen Berlingo mod for liveries, or maybe the street car mod for a huge selection of cars.

I do want to run a 24 hour race of some kind.
