Nurburgring and Schumacher Karting Centre Trip

Post by LellaLombardi »

Yesterday I bought myself a Fiat Seicento Sporting. It is a car I had in my single days, and absolutely loved. As I was driving it home I remembered an ambition I had for many years, which was to take a Cinquecento/Seicento to the Nurburgring and also to visit the Schumacher Kart Track at Kerpen.

Well, I've only gone and booked it! :D I get the tunnel out on the morning of 5th August, drive to the ring for the 5pm open practice, camp nearby overnight, visit the kart track the following morning then drive home again.

Has anyone made this trip and got any tips? I can't wait!
Maria De Villotta will forever be badass. Rest in Peace.
Pulling for Schumi and Jules.

Have fun! You're also wise for choosing to do it in a car that's probably already worthless!

Indeed. If I do wreck it I will obviously have to pay the going rate to repair any damage I do to the ring, but then I will probably get the car scrapped in Germany and fly home. I hope I don't though!
