The Macau GP weekend has quickly become the fixture that closes out the season in the ASMF, but only the open wheel part of it has been featured. The Macau Touring Masters will see the inclusion of the growing Tin-Top Portion of the ASMF have their season finale and one of their highlights of the season. Cash and bragging rights, and glory going to the winner, putting them at the top of the Tin-Top Food Chain for years to come.

Team Entry:

Any team is allowed to enter the Macau Touring Masters, with the typical limit of one team per user. There are four cars available: The Chevrolet Cruze, The Ford Focus, The Toyota Corolla, and The Mitsubishi Lancer. The first three cars there have a factory team representing them with Union Saver Developments, Jones Racing, and Plus One Racing Engineering leading the way for their manufactures respectively. All three of them will be entering two cars, but each manufacturer can have one customer two-car team, which means there will be only one two-car Lancer team. Any one can apply for the second car, but RNG will dictate who gets it. The entry limit is 30 cars. Entries will be closed once 30 cars is reached, taking into account customer two-car teams or when there's been a good amount of time since the last entrant.

Here is the Entry Form:

Team Name - Nationality
Car - Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla, or Mitsubishi Lancer
Car 1 - Number X
Driver Name - Nationality

Applying for Car 2? Y/N
Car 2 -Number X
Driver Name - Nationality

(Numbers can be 0, 8-99)

Driver Requirements:

Any driver that has raced in a Tin-Top or Endurance championship during 2017 is allowed to enter the Macau Touring Masters. So that means GTR WC, ACO LMC, AR ST, and AR GTi participants are allowed to enter. The drivers also cannot be racing in any other event in the Macau GP weekend, whether it'd be the F1RWRS, F2RWRS or Macau Junior Masters. Talent files will be generated in the same way as the Macau Junior Masters.

Real Life Drivers can not be entered.

Car Specifications and Race Format:

All the cars will have the same specification, except for the three Factory Teams who will have a small horsepower boost. For reference, the cars have 300 Horsepower, weigh 1100 Kilograms, and are Front Wheel Drive. It is the Copa Petrobras de Marcas mod for GTR2.

There will be a 30 Minute Practice Session, a 10 Minute Qualifying Session and then two races; a Qualifying that will go 10 Laps, and then the Championship race going 15 laps, with the grid being set by finishing position from the Qualifying Race. Cars that do not finish the Q Race will not advance to the Championship race.

Italian kitchen appliance manufacturer De'Longhi has signed a contract with Jones Racing Group and Ford to bankroll an entry into the 2017 Macau Touring Masters, with the Jones team running two factory-supported Ford Focuses for star tin-top drivers.

Whilst the drivers themselves have yet to be confirmed, team boss Sammy Jones was delighted at the news and is confident that the team will prove to be competitive around the tight streets of the former Portuguese colony,

"It's fantastic for everyone concerned, we have a great package that we've put together, De'Longhi are very happy to be on board, and Ford can't wait to see what their Focus can do around Macau. I think it will be brilliant. It sets us up nicely for a potential entry into GTR WC in 2018, which we will be looking to negotiate shortly, and I understand De'Longhi are keen to remain with us for that venture as well. This is, if you like, all three parties dipping our toes in the water of touring car racing and seeing how we like it. So far it's looking pretty sweet!"

It is rumoured that Jones will look to an agreement with Ford to run a split Ford/Atlas Cars team in GTR WC in 2018, using either the Fiesta or Mustang platform. That decision hinges on the regulations established by the series for the 2018 season, though Atlas will begin production of silhouette cars based around both Fiesta and Mustang, named the Compact and Vixen respectively, in late 2017, thus leaving their options open as to which model they use to race.

Car 1 - #4
Stefan Kuntz - GER
Car 2 - #5
Paul Jenkins - GBR

The door is open for any decent tin toppers to take a drive at the factory Ford team. As I'm not active at present in the tin top championships at the moment I have no drivers myself to fill the slots. I'd like race winners in the categories RRR has listed in his criteria, so that's GTR WC, ACO LMC, AR ST, and AR GTi to apply. There is also the offer of a 2018 drive in either ACO LMC or (pending a Jones entry) GTR WC for the two drivers in Macau.

May I recommend you check your E-Mail AndreaModa, and I will update the liveries for the Jones Focuses.

Ah, sorry I missed that! Yeah appreciate the livery effort actually, but switch out the National for De'Longhi, go for a slightly darker blue and change the yellow highlights to white and that would be great! :)

Stefan Kuntz and Sylvain Fabron are available for the event. Kuntz won a race and finished 3rd overall in GT-R last season, while Fabron won a race and was on points in all but one race in RTCC last season en route to a 4th overall finish. Fabron is currently 6th overall in ARST, having been on points in every race so far with a best result of 2nd.

Which, for the record, are F1RWRS, F2RWRS, F3RWRS and AR 2.0.

Well, alright, I accept the Cruze. It's just Aeroracing's main brand has always been Audi and there were no Group VAG cars to choose from, that's why I chose the Lancer just like I could've chosen the Corolla. However, why my first driver is TBA? Is there any issue with Magnus, so I know I need to nominate another driver?

And you did run Chevys last year in GTR. Anyways, where is Phoenix McAllister when you want to attempt to win a race?

I'll just go with a simple purple with blue Viper-style stripes, the colors preferably similar to this, with Valvoline and Alpinestars as minor sponsors. :)

The templates can be downloaded in the link below. I highly recommend everyone at least try to do their own livery first, even if you are allergic to doing things. The Logos and Number boxes already on the temps are required and shouldn't be moved. Save the liveries in the same naming style as the original template, just changing the last three numbers of 17000 to reflect the numbers you are using for the race. (17069 for the Luxray Lancer for example) Either a .PNG or .PSD will do.
