Stirling (in Scotland) Moss, Rio (de Janeiro) Haryanto, Dave Charlton (Australia or Canada, take your pick), George (Windsor and) Eaton, Lella Lombardi (went there for my holidays once), Stefano Modena (don't they make cars there?) and not forgetting Ricardo Londoño-Bridge!

I feel the results of this thread warrant a discussion as to why so many F1 drivers are already named after places...

is named after a place, given that he is really John Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marqess of Bute, Earl of Dumfries - and those from the aristocracy tend to shorten their names to first-name-plus-place-of-title.
So should he be disqualified from the competition?
