RIP Carl Haas

Post by Londoner »

Sad news coming in this evening is that Carl Haas passed away from Alzheimer's last week. He was the co-owner of IndyCar legends Newman/Haas Racing, and also ran the Haas Lola F1 programme in the mid-1980s.

RIP Carl 1930-2016. :(

Newman/Haas was my favourite IndyCar team of the 1990s (probably due in no small part to MansellMania).

RIP Carl Haas.

Oh dear, I missed that news. Sad news.

I guess that means Newman/Haas will never return to motorsport, then. And no more Lolas in North American motorsport...
