Las Vegas GP ROTR
Las Vegas GP ROTR
STROLL, but purely due to weekend antics.
OCON for his pitbox failure.
Otherwise, clean weekend.

1. Estaban Ocon. What a stupid Error. Missed his pit box so had to go out of the pits and do an extra lap. Might have got a point if not for that stupidity.
2. Lance Stroll. Slow, did nothing all weekend. Rinse and repeat.
Hm Sergio Perez. Got a point but might as well not shown up.

Benetton of 1992. Never a reject

Ocon is a slam-dunk choice for me.

You'll never DNF if you always DNPQ. #RollSafe

Re: Las Vegas GP ROTR
It has to be Ocon for his stupid pitbox failure.
Re: Las Vegas GP ROTR
Ocon's pit stop attempt definitely wins this one for me too.
Re: Las Vegas GP ROTR
Ocon's pit stop is probably the most rejectful thing.
But what happened about the Sainz pit stop shennanigans? Surely a slam dunk penalty yet there appears to be nothing.

Re: Las Vegas GP ROTR
Gotta be Ocon for the calamitous error of pitting when no one was expecting him hasn’t it?
Pretty tired of mentioning Perez and Aston Martin at this point as they’ve both been awful for months now

Alpine as a whole get it for me, you can add in Pierre Gas Leak when he was in a good position! (Back down to earth with a bang after the euphoria of the double podium in Brazil)
Don't see the point of Checo or Stroll or Sauber, they're among the ROTY candidates.

1. Esteban Ocon. More like LOLcon, amirite?
2. Aston Martin. This team is looking like the bad old days of Jaguar.

Genuine question - how can an engine failure be a ROTR move?James1978 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 11:44 Alpine as a whole get it for me, you can add in Pierre Gas Leak when he was in a good position! (Back down to earth with a bang after the euphoria of the double podium in Brazil)

For me, it's race control for ignoring the most blatant pit lane breach in recent history. Of course you know that everyone's going to do the same thing now. And boy will they squeal like stuck pigs if they're penalised for the same offence. The FIA is as consistent with penalties as ever.
Otherwise, among the drivers, it's clearly Ocon for the comedic value and Bottas for not even giving the false impression that Sauber might pick up a point.

So many choices this week.....
Joylon Palmer: I usually defend him on here as he is the best commentator by far, but his constant praising of the city/venue/atmosphere/race etc was cringy. I know he was being told to say all of it, but oof.
Will Buxton - During the clean up period after Franco's crash, he proceeds to absolutely bury the guy with comments so harsh it lead to Max of all people calling him out.
Alex Albon - Did nothing all weekend, went out in Q1 and proclaimed that he wasn't worried, as he would "easily" score points on Sunday. Whoops.
Williams Grand Prix Engineering - Were in such dire straits that rumors had them missing the race entirely, or just running Albon. They bragged all weekend about literally taking broken parts out of a dumpster and bondo-ing them to the cars, which I guess they think would make them appear plucky? But Jesus, that's what Monteverdi used to do. Oh, and they then had another major shunt and an engine failure. $25 million in crash damage and counting......

Me either Jolyn, maybe that's why we're both out, eh?
