Re: The reject youtube thread

Not sure if anybody else posted this - but I just found this on youtube - more footage of the 97 Lola Masterpiece being driven the way it was meant to be driven :)

Re: Both Brawn GP Seats May Be Changed

It's amazing how quickly a driver will take a coveted seat for granted. You would think after the years of being at the rear of the field he'd have some perspective on how much more valuable a fast car is than money. Although he's going to look pretty smart if the BGP02 is a dog.

Grosjean gets my vote for taking out Button and subsequently Hamilton and Jaime....then saying that it was Button that took him out.

BMW Sauber Gone?

Just saw this on Autosport.com - they are expecting a "big" announcement from the BMW board tomorrow and all signs point to them pulling out of F1.

I certainly feel bad for the drivers and I kind of feel sad that I won't see Dr. T's bulletproof pompadour every other weekend.

Bourdais reject page

How long before we get a Sebastian Bourdais F1 Reject page?

Including a section of his excuses would be stellar.

Re: F1 Rejects Competition?

I think race-wise it may be difficult. But season-wise it could be funny. "Top 10 Reject moments", perhaps you could put a list of options during the final race podcast and then reveal results in season review. You're right - race by race might be a bit taxing - Season wise would be fine ...

Re: F1 Rejects Competition?

Here is my idea: I'm thinking something along the lines of Jamie and Enoch coming up with a category of a top ten (or five) list based on the Grand Prix weekend and then having the forum members submitting their list. The most amusing entries (i.e. - ones that would be submitted by yours trulli) cou...

Re: Drivers that Would Be Rejects if they got to F1...

Certainly my vote goes to Mohammad Bin Sulayem who gave the r28 a nice demo run at the ING Renault roadshow in dubai...

He made it about 100 feet before he pulled a remarkable Nelshino impression...and that was in a straight line...I'd like to see how he handles turning the wheel.

Re: James Allen

I live in America so I get the Speed broadcast of F1 and I have to say I'm thoroughly pleased with the commentating team. Bob Varsha, Steve Matchett and David Hobbs are fantastic, I think this moreso after having to sit through an ITV Qualifying Analysis of Canada 2008. Their "analysis" of...

GP of Venice: amphibious F1 cars with pontoons, paddlewheels, pit crews in gondalas, safety boats, nelshino's car hoisted off track by fishing net, loads of good stuff.
