Re: 2013 Silly Season Thread
Would be something quite fitting if Schumi ended his career as a pay driver...just like he started! And at Sauber to boot. The same guys that gave him his big break in racing with their Endurance Racing dream team of himself, Wendlinger and Frentzen. Ironically enough at the time, he was considered...

Where does this leave the open Sauber seat and Ferrari is the question now. Along with Senna's seat at Williams which surely isn't safe.
Schumacher to Sauber?

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - 2012 Aus GP
Di Resta getting a point right at the end has to be contender surely? But I'll go for Raikonnen, closely followed by Alonso. I think a lot of people seemed to be extremely pessimistic about Kimi's first race back and he did pretty well. Surely he'll only improve from here. I want to see what he coul...

What was the Sky coverage like outside of the race? Croft/Brundle were a superb combination, how the BBC never had the sense to put the two of them together I will never understand.

Re: ROTR Australia 2012
I'm stuck between the South American contingent. Massa was abysmal all weekend, with today being the beginning of the end of his Ferrari career one would guess. But it's Badoer-esque that Pastor binned a solid points scoring position on the last lap. Except it wasn't Badoer's fault, Maldonado only h...

Re: Senna - the movie
I really enjoyed Senna. As I missed him by about four years it was really interesting to see how F1 used to look above and beyond whatever we see in BBC's classic highlights. Wasn't really sure about the portrayal of Balestre and Prost (especially Prost)-a very partisan film undeniably (disappointin...

He isn't exaggerating - the car looks like a right mess, and looking at the hole punched in the side, it's a surprise that he didn't have any terminal damage to his radiators or other equipment. http://i67.servimg.com/u/f67/12/07/06/50/heidfe10.jpg Looking at that, it's no wonder that he was strugg...

Ideally we'd have crofty in the box on main with martin doing the expert insight, that would be the perfect commentary, but this wasn't so bad to watch Spot on. Not really sure why the BBC didn't give it a go to be honest, would've been a more natural replacement for Legard. I too would like to see...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Australia!
Are HRT even elligible given the basis they didn't actually make the race...? But for me has to be either the limitations on DRS that race control deicded, or Rubens. All weekend he was a disaster. Qualified 17th because he spun out, ran wide first lap losing a lot of time then smashed into Rosberg....

2. Petrov
Can't argue with that!
Out of interest, those who were watching BBC coverage, who out there felt sorry for Petrov when Jake, DC and EJ were asking Boullier about what Kubica could've done with the Renault when the focus should've been on Petrov's first podium...?

Red Bull: Vettel, I can't see Webber matching him this year unfortunately. Ferrari: Alonso, I think he destroyed Massa psychologically last year, and I don't think Massa has the mentality to fight back against Alonso, far too strong! McLaren: Hamilton, but if Button's skills in preserving tyres come...

To be honest, I'd be inclined to agree. The best they can really hope for is to be within 107%, anything more than that is a bonus given theres rumours than Red Bull have been sandbagging majorly (if BBC's F1 Blogs are to be believed anyway!)

Toyota: 140 races, 278.5 points, 13 podiums, no wins and no titles! The most successful driver they ever had was Ralf Schumacher, and he actually fits very well with the team: great promise, flashes of brilliance, but always uninspiring and, in the end, not good enough! Hi guys, Was just playing an old game on my PS1, due to my PS3 playing bust unable to play F1 2010, so I ended up playing a relic. "Formula One" for PS1 chronicled the 1995 Season, including what I think are quite a few of the most prestigious pay drivers of all time (Montermini, Delatraz,...
