Most deluded F1 drivers
The most deluded F1 drivers? Here's my pic: 1 - Eddie Irvine - Actually thought he was a world class driver!!!!! 2- Damon Hill - ditto - and thought he was in the same league as Senna and Prost!!! 3 - Rubens Barrichelo - Thought he could have taken Schuey but for Ferrari politics!!!! 4 - Nigel Manse...

Re: Your Reject Of The Race - Hungary
LOTUS - Clealry the fastest cars yet again, but unable to win one GP in 11 attempts. Think they need a sports psychologist - they also need to stop being so pleased with runners-up spot - Grosjean needs to stop being starstruck and Kimi needs to get on the front row of the grid - Strategists need to...

After F1
What happens to F1 drivers post F1? There are, after all, only so many commentary positions available! Here's a few to begin with: Reutemann - politics - seem to remember Lauda describing his ex-Ferrari teammate as 'sly' and 'cunning' so no surprises there! Scheckter - organic farming in Dorset I th...

Re: This looks like fun...
Having a few pounds on a race really spices it up for me.
I've been watching F1 since Vegas '82 but only got interested in the
betting side fairly recently. It's you against the bookie and I love the
opportunity of proving them wrong

Re: Has Schumi got his mojo back?
Just noticed possibly a better punt from the same people:
Raikkonen to outqualify Grosjean between 0.600 - 0.799
at 16/1 - surely more chance of this than Schumi doing the same to Nico??
Then again Romain has been right on Kimi's pace - when he manages to get
more than a couple pf laps together.

Has Schumi got his mojo back?
Been pondering whether to have a punt of Schumi to outqualify Rosberg at the CHina GP. Recent form suggests Schu may be finally getting to grips with the Merc (and with Nico). Wondered whether to have a few quid on these two: Schumacher to outqualify Rosberg: between 0.400 - 0.599 - 16/1 between 0.8...

F1 driver's homes
While working down in Maidenhead last summer I remebered readind somewhere that Ronnie Peterson had been a resident in the town along with Howden Ganley back inthe 1970s. It's within the F1 corridor close to Cookham Dean etc. where the likes of Keke Rosberg used to live. So, after a little bit of re...

Re: Favorite Racing Book?
Here's my top F1 reads: Recently read a book about the 1961 season entitled 'The Limit' - some interesting stuff abot Ferrari and Hill/Von Trips partnership - manages to evoque the era pretty well and definitely worth a read. Another favourite I'd recommend is the excellent 'Viking Drivers' which ch...

Re: Which teams of the past would you like to have back in F
Here's my three fav F1 teams of all time:
Ligier (1980)
Shadow (1974/1975)
Wolf (1978)
Three of the coolest ever F1 teams surely.

Alonso 66/1!!!
Just wondered if anybody else here had availed themselves of the 66/1 bookmakers were offering on Alonso to win in Malaysia?? Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price - how could anyone in their right mind offer Alonso at such a price notwithstanding a slightly disappointing qualifing performan...
