Re: Reject of the Race - Brazil 2024
For me, Stroll beaching it is a good, old-fashioned ROTR slam-dunk. One thing I'm curious about is whether the replay of him beaching was ever played, I didn't see it anywhere, but what a colossal bathplug that would have to have been, after him being shown pointing the wrong way but still on the t...

Re: Reject of the Race - Brazil 2024
Haven’t felt compelled to nominate a ROTR for 10 years but today was something special. Lance Stroll ’s body language told you that even he was aware that his off would do nothing to silence his critics. It’s hard to make a case that he deserves a place on the grid after that. Lando Noris He couldn’...

Re: Murray Walker (1923 - 2021)
Best memory of Murray Walker is the Japanese Grand Prix 1994. Being 7 years old and a much bigger fan of Damon Hill than going to mass meant a compromise was made that we’d record the end of the race on tape. The result was being able to watch and listen to Murray Walker shout “Three point three six...

What about a medium-rare tyre? No sidewall markings, just black on the outside that gets pinker towards the middle as the rubber gets worn off.

Is the Kyvat/Verstappen swap the first intra-season straight swap of drivers between teams since… well I'm not sure, maybe 1994? I thought maybe the Alesi/Frentzen swap of 2001 but Frentzen missed the German GP so I don't think that should count.

If 20 years of watching F1 and F1 Rejects has taught me anything its that any driver can have an accident at any point of a Grand Prix weekend. Ever wondered what a Ferrari livery would look like if tobacco advertising was still allowed? With the exception of the cost cap, I've never been so disappointed by a set of rule changes. Its even prompted a rare post!
