Benes:
I had bad qualifying, but I really enjoyed the race where I could make lots of progress. One close call with van Dycke but managed to pass him through the grass.
Simonov:
I had brilliant lap in qualifying but race-pace wasn't very good in my car. Therefore dropped back.
Btw, I think race highlights needs clip from the start of the race.

Late entry, again...
This is my first enterance at a computerized series, actually.

Only now could see the Race 2 highlights and, oh gosh
However if i think about the 4 people i based my 2 drivers on (who are friends of me, or just some epic dudes i know), it doesn't surprise me they are so rejectful.

Re: The Rejectful Eastern European Cars Computerised Series
I just thought of making separate classifications for each car.
Since some of the Polski Fiat racers are rather uneligible to have a Top 10 finish, they can at least compete on a level of their own
But don't ask me to count all this up, because - what was recently proved in F1Rejects LFS Cup - I blatantly suck at making all these standings.

Round 4 - The Loch Rannoch Monster?
You've all heard of the Loch Ness Monster, but there is another monster lurking around a Scottish loch... the Loch Rannoch monster, a fearsome racetrack surrounding Loch Rannoch. The combination of high speed bends and a 90 degree corner onto the bridge will catch any driver out... and possibly eat them alive!
Crazy Dave was originally meant to be commentating for this race, but he passed out after drinking one too many Jagerbombs.
The REECCS stayed in Scotland for the fourth round of the series, this time at the high speed Loch Rannoch circuit. For once it wasn't a Skoda taking the pole position, with Maxim Simonov taking that honour. The first corner, a chicane, caught Dean O' Lauchlan out, the DHL car taking a quick roll. Meanwhile, the second corner was proving the action spot for this race, with everyone running wide and hitting the barrier, some even putting two wheels up on the side of it.
On the 13th minute of the race, history was made as the safety car made its first ever appearance (thanks to me leaving it on after a Champ Car race I did earlier in the day) to clean up the mess that the three Trabants had caused by rolling in exactly the same spot on the same lap at almost the same time. Race leader Frank Montana was fuming, as he lost a 2 second lead due to this. If there was one driver that benefited most from this, it would be Dean O'Lauchlan, who was making up a whole heap of ground on the leaders. He eventually passed Montana for the lead and was never headed from there on in, winning with an absolutely superb job after his early roll. Maxim Simonov was second, Frank Zimmer third and Montana fourth. However, there was still more rejectful action, as 8th placed Richie White and 12th placed James Davies inexplicably pitted on the last lap, just meters from the finish.

5th place for my driver in her second race, not bad at all!
As long as she keeps this up, and doesn't DNF, recieves negative points from an award or finishes outside of points, I am happy with that and I just Can't wait to see the highlights on youtube!
And by the way, yes, my driver is indeed a female!

Simonov:
My Lada worked very well on this circuit. I thought I would have chances to win but got a bad start and dropped back few places. Fought back and got 2nd in the end, which is good anyway.
Benes:
I just wasn't able to find way past other cars. I hit the wall once pretty hard and my car was not 100% after that. I look forward for the next race, which should suit Skoda better than this.

Round 5 - Lydden Hill Rally-cross
For the first time this season the REECCS heads onto the dirt for the rallycross race at Lydden Hill.
8 drivers were disqualified from qualifying after being deemed to have completed more than the allowed amount of laps. They were allowed to start, but had to find their own way onto the track after being placed behind the armco. A few surprises came in qualifying, such as two Polski Fiats starting on the front row, though their time in the lead was short lived. The high kerbing of the hairpin caught many an unsuspecting driver out, sending them into a roll, but the Trabants found the long fast corner before the hairpin a better place to roll, with them often sliding across the infield into oncoming traffic over the other side, which explains why none of them finished.
The Skodas proved dominant again, with Dean O'Lauchlan using his dirt track experience to take a huge win over Zbynek Benes.

Re: The Rejectful Eastern European Cars Computerised Series
As I know at least one person reads this...
If the championship was run as a proper F1 series with points (as the internet is serious business as we all know) what would the points look like?
Alternative championship using 1991 F1 Points
Alternative championship using current F1 points system.
In both of them Dean has a massive points advantage as he is the only driver to have finished better then 5th in every race and to score points. In the current F1 piints system, the top 4 in the table are the only people to have finished in the points in every race. HWNSNBM , Brucie Kibbutz and Zbynek Benes are in touch with good points in the 4 races they scored points in.

Ben Fleet was hoping that, by having Dr Who and Back to the Future as sponsors, he might be able to access their time travel technology to give him a boost up the grid. He was thus disappointed to discover that one was a British TV series and the other a Hollywood blockbuster. He is now commiserating down the pub with two guys called Bell and Ted, who once had an excellant adventure and whose favourite number just happens to be 69, Ben's car number in this series...

The night after Round 5 had finished Both me and my driver relased statements. Here's both of them in their enterity
OFFICIAL TEAM STATEMENT after Round 5:
Well, my driver was one of the 8 that was affected by doing too many laps in Qualyfying. Even though both of us are pissed off that we didn't appear in the race results. However, as team manager, I did everything I could do to tell her during qualyfying, but Migle and I didn't know that there was a thing as maximum number of qualyfying laps, because we entered this championship 2 rounds late! I understand that even one mistake can and will cost us the championship for the year. But let's learn and grow as a team, and hope that this one costly mistake didn't cost us our championship hopes as well. Now, I do understand that this is professional sports, and I shouldn't whine about it, so I will forget about it like a grown man and grow up as a human!

OFFICIAL DRIVER STATEMENT after Round 5:
I did my job in qualfying, but I didn't know about the maximum amount of laps in qualyfying rule as well. For that, I will not do the same mistake twice! As well as being pissed off, I also understand that a rule is a rule, and there's no challenging it. So, with that in mind, I say that as the driver I will still do my job and race for KL-Racer's team, but now both of us know that we can't do this again and we will respect their decisions to the fullest extent. As my team manager said in his statement, I will grow up, forget about this mistake, and hopefully this mistake will not cost my championship aspirations. As a driver, I hope that we can make this up with a big points finish next round. But at the same time, I have to think smart and take as much points as possible out of the remaining rounds.

Love the fact that pretty much everyone kept hitting that one wall. Especially when they all did it in succession.
I've subbed you now on YT.

Re: The Rejectful Eastern European Cars Computerised Series
will i ever get that negative points score away?
+ can you add the website http://www.festivalblog.be on my #31 car? a friend of me is launching it this sunday (well you can go on to the website because it exists for years, but only as a 'skynetblog' not yet on this link) because he promised that if i would get him free publicity, he might give me some free tickets if he can get hands on some:D
+ if you find a space on the #13, you can add moneytron on it, because it matches the colours, but if this makes the livery less epic, don't.

Jorma Kalervo's sponsors have not been satisfied by his "stable but lackluster" performances and have decided to withdraw their backing.
Luckily for Jorma he has found a new sponsor, but with that comes a new livery. (I hope it's okay for us to change liveries?)

Re: The Rejectful Eastern European Cars Computerised Series
This series is on hold indefinitely due to computer problems, hopefully they are resolved soon so I can get the series back underway for the Figure 8 race.
This is a cool spot.
