2003 to 2009 Points System pre-2003
Just a little experiment I previously conducted when the 2003 points system was introduced. So far, not much different except that Damon Hill would have been 94 Champ and Schuey 97 Champ (even before Jerez had taken place).
Re: 2003 to 2009 Points System pre-2003
I might have thought Eddie Irvine would have won 1999 with that points system in place?

Correct! Eddie Irvine would have been 99 Champ under the 03-09 System.
It would have been:
104-96 in Damon's favour in 94
94-89 in Schumey's favour in 97
96-88 in Irvine's favour in 99
It would have been:
104-96 in Damon's favour in 94
94-89 in Schumey's favour in 97
96-88 in Irvine's favour in 99

If I'm not wrong, with pre-2003 points system, Massa and Hamilton would have finished 2008 season with the same points (so Massa would have been world champion, with six races wons).

Mind you, if the rain had been slightly lighter on the final lap of the Brazilian GP, it'd have been the exact same situation

I also read somewhere that if 2008 had been under the 2010+ points system then Hamilton would have won by 3 points and therefore Glock wouldn't have been the #1 hated man in Brazil.

2008 would have been 83-80 in Massa's favour. Lewis would have had to finish 2nd (under 1991-2002 Points System)
