Well, I'll admit I'm surprised at Senna's pace, but good for him. If he can get rid of some of his not-so spectacular outings last year from his image with a good race, then that would be good.

Senna/Grosjean for 2012. :P

Here's some more interesting news. Pirelli are to supply 17 extra front tyres for the race.

...17? Why 17? What use would that extra one be? Unless it means 17 pairs of front tyres, which would be slightly less absurd.

It's 17 tyres. There were already 3 spares lying around the pitlane which brings the inventory up to 20 although I believe that Charlie has just overruled the decision so none of those tyres can be used.

Some people are reporting that Red Bull are not happy with the decision. Apparently they blistered their tyres in Q3, so they' asked for new ones, and been told they're not getting them.

Red Bull: we've got blistering in our tyres, we need new ones!

Race steward #1: hey, that's against the rules!

Race steward #2: let's ask Charlie, just in case...

Charlie Whiting: it's a safety issue, let them take new tyres...

Looks at the championship standings

Bruno's first time at the front, of course he was gonna loblock it up.

Start of the season:

Red Bull at front
German in other Car gets great start
holds everyone else up while red bull wins...

Hmmm.

Looked like Hamilton was knocked out for a second there. Looks like he had no control of the car after the crash, as his hands weren't on the wheel.

Not a lot of love for Kobayashi on the beeb over that move, Hamilton thought he was ahead I'm guessing.

IIDOTR for Schumacher or for Maldonado?

I reckon it depends on whether the Reverend can hold his point-paying 10th until the end of the race.

EDIT: Button has just been informed that he's going to catch Alonso and is told to use "G1". Immediately De la Rosa explains in Spanish TV that G1 means max revs. That's why these days our coverage is so good.

Senna to be replaced by Grosjean from Singapore onwards. This is shockingly bad from Senna, he can't even get near the chronically slow Rubens.

Spa delivers again. And didn't even need rain for it O_O
a few personal notes as usual:

- Vettel had a good race. And eventhough he won, I DARE someone *coughcoughadx_walescoughcough* to come and claim the race was boring because of it.
- What the hell is up with Webber's starts? He was left literally standing O_o. Good recovery none-the-less and a well deserved 2nd place.
- Jesus christ Button O_O I'm slowly starting to like Jenson, that was mighty impressive.
- Alonso... so what's your excuse this time?
- from 24th to 5th. Schuey had one HELLOVA race. I might not like the guy... but I give credit where it's due.
- Hamilton you idiot. That was completely on you, you left Kamui nowhere to go.
- Speaking of Kamui, he had one unlucky race. Getting hit left and right, the first corner someone hit him, then Hamilton hit him and later Barrichello hit him. Poor Kamui.
- Maldonado gets points. Good job.
- I am slightly disappointed at Senna, but outside the first corner, he had a solid race. Good riddance to Heidfeld.
- Toro Rosso had a horrendous race. Poor Alguersuari, there was nothing he could do.
- Poor, Poor Massa. The frak was up with his strategy? Is Ferrari intentionally sabotaging him? :E

In short, a damn entertaining race.
I got Pointed Opinions and I ain't afraid to use em!

You really think Grosjean could do any better? I honestly think that Renault are overrating Grosjean.
