F1 Comedy - Youtube videos and the Formula 1 and FOM

Post by deivison »

Today we're not talking a pilot, but let's make a joke about the FOM that takes videos of Formula 1 racing in order to invite the so inexperienced Awesore and Fu to make that joke, it's worth seeing the movie, he has a little less than 1 minute.

This, IMO, isn't spam. So I won't delete it. Whoever wants to see it, be his guest. If not, don't see it.

I don't understand the Iberian language that the video clip is in, so was able to get nothing out of it.

For Pete's sake, this is getting ridiculous! :x

Couldn't agree more. While they tended to flag more recent videos like that, I've seen that block screen in videos that should be (judging by the title, at least) from as far back as the 1991 season!

My take on that is... technically, they have the right to do that, but... frankly, they should be more sensible about that. Most videos I saw from that era were captured from old VHS tapes that were otherwise fated to oblivion and were already showing defects at the time of capture. OK, sometimes people stretch it, posting stuff from like last race and using the maximum video length allowed by YouTube to post as much of the race as possible... but seriously, small clips at low resolution like most of what we see on YouTube would even qualify as "fair use", I think (I'm not a lawyer).

That's in Portuguese - I may provide a translation later.
