111202 Abuzilian GP Edition

Post by Kuwashima »

Dear all,

Our latest affront to the usual standards of decency that hold our society together has been recorded and published. We culinairily celebrate Kimi's return, make our long awaited return to poetry abuse, cover the silly season updates, Bernie in the news, and the final two races of the season, announcing 2011's last two ROTRs along the way.

Fire up iTunes or your podcatcher of choice and enjoy!

Cheers,
Jamie

Don't have time to listen at the moment, but I'm dying to know who got RotR for Brazil? :)

Good podcast, but I have two gripes. Firstly, the last Frenchman to race in F1 was Sebastien Bourdais not Franck Montagny. Also, I make it de la Rosa's 5th F1 comeback: first in 2005 for McLaren when Montoya was injuered playing tennis ;) , second in 2006 for McLaren when Montoya was sacked, third in 2010 for Sauber, 4th in Canada 2011 for Sauber, so this is the 5th one. But obviously these are minor quibbles, and it's great tosee that the podcasts are more frequent now. :)

Lol, How on Earth did I forget him? Wait, on second thoughts, I was referring to drivers born in France. ;)

I make it 6th... he came back in 2001 for the first time, after missing the first four races because Walkinshaw fired him at the start of the year to take Bernoldi's money. (Of course, De la Rosa entered F1 in the same way: Walkinshaw fired Salo to take DLR's money).
Go home, Bernie Ecclestone!

Thoroughly enjoyable podcast as usual.

Did I blank out for 10 seconds or was the 'Conspiracy Theorists Stand Up!' audio clip missing?
