And Christopherson is pretty great. He worked his way up, unlike some drivers. Not you.

Jones got suspended for two races because of his incidents with Mori, and couldn't be bothered finding a replacement.

Dammit guys, I was planning on doing a controversial interview with Kay Lon after the Bathurst weekend where he would make a lot more enemies - but especially that Melrose/Christopherson thing is tempting me to already post Lon's comments, stop doing that.

** Sunshine skips Pre-Qualifying for Round 3
QUALIFYING
** Foxdale will have to Pre-Qualifying at Round 3
RACE
Spencer easily kept the lead at the start with the rest of the Top 3 untouched. Katayama and Scott did good starts while Lon´s one was quite poor. Inmediately, Spencer started to open a gap while Dagnall started to put pressure on Nicolas.
On lap 3 Mori passed Scott for 6th, but the DGNgineering driver would be back soon back into points as Spencer lost control of the car on lap 4 and went straight into the wall! An embarrassing way of losing the race. Disaster for MRT was complete that same lap as Dagnall managed to pass Nicolas for the lead.
Borsevic and Christopherson would soon retire but the other resonant retirement came from Kay Lon, who spun out and damaged his car in the process, with Pratchett miracously avoiding a big crash, it wouldn´t be too comforting for the ARC driver as brakes trouble struck, having to pit early in Lap 10 to fix it:
Lap 12 would see another major turnaround when Dagnall retired, leaving Nicolas with a comfy lead.
Lap 13 situation:
That same lap Scott was the first man to pit out of the two stoppers with De Bock, Zimmer, Mori and Katayama following. Lap 19 made the race interesting again as Watkinson, Mori and Davies all retired.
However, Nicolas adventure would last only until half the distance, leaving Katayama´s Sunshine at the front. On lap 24, de Bock got the lead as Katayama suffered an electric failure, ultimately costing her the win, but she could join back in 2nd place. Scott retired a bit later, leaving Melrose in 3rd. When De Bock stopped for the 2nd time on lap 28, he managed to keep the lead by 2 seconds.
From then on, Zimmer got advantage of fresh tyres to pass Plaza for 4th, while an interesting fight between Pratchett and Mignolet developed behind. Pratchett passed the Acuri driver on lap 35, with both drivers approaching Plaza as well. Pratchett passed his Mexican teammate on lap 38, with Mignolet slightly behind, being faster than Plaza on fresher tyres, but slower than the Mexican on top speed, fighting for the last point. Pratchett ultimately spun on lap 44 and Mignolet managed to pass the Mexican driver for the 5th place two corners to the end and scoring first points ever for Acuri. At the front, Katayama never bothered De Bock, who takes the lead of the championship.
FASTEST LAP: Natahanael Spencer (MRT) - 1.45.891
ROTR: Nathanael Spencer; Only something stupid would stop him from winning and yet he managed to throw the win out of the window.

Just out of curiosity, does GP2 have a "director mode" like GP4 does which lets the game control the camera angles as if it were the race broadcast director?

I know. I was frustrated at the constant engine failures so changed engines. I thought the grass would be greener on the other side with a different engine. Now I realise that I would rather have a fast and unreliable team than a team that is just plain slow.
But at least I am rejectful either way.

Oh and for future reference, the race distance at Bathurst should be 50 laps if we're using F1's rule of the first complete lap over 305km.
