Retrospectives

Post by Bleu »

As it is likely now that Rubens Barrichello's F1 career is over, would it be good to have a daily pictures on him like there has been for some other drivers (or teams) earlier? Also there was a picture from every season few years ago, reminding some of the specialities from each season.

Well, also Barrichello might perhaps take the number one spot for mid-season replacements, if we ignore the thrid drivers, so I dare to still believe he will at least get his 20th season.

Sad thought it would be to see Rubens leave the sport, there would potentially be one upside to that - in the past Rubens indicated that he was going to lift the lid on what went on during his, and Schumacher's, time at Ferrari in his autobiography when he left the sport. I wonder, therefore, if he might have a few interesting stories to tell, both concerning the management of the team and the sport as a whole at the time, since a man who has been around the paddock for that long must know a few secret that are being hidden...

I still hope to see Barrichello racing in 2012. I think he's a good driver and better than some of the last years rookie and I don't really think he's too old to race in Formula 1.
Anyway rumors are that he will race in Indycar...

There's a picture to start you off. If only there was some way of finding out what year this was taken...

So you are in a public fast-food restaurant which places under the same category Nudity and Sports?

Get the hell out of there!

Well, it's a photo of Barrichello crying atop a podium. That pretty much says all you need to know about the decency of the photo ;)

I can see it now that I'm back on my uni's campus... I think maybe F1 Adam may have been ironic about wondering about the date? :o

And perhaps Phoenix was being ironic about being deadly serious in his answer :o
Or perhaps your last comment also contains a sarcastic overtone...

Your wish has been granted! We have started a Rubens Retrospective series of pictures on the main page. I have started a separate announcement thread about it so I will lock this thread for now.
