111030 Indian GP Editions online!

Post by Kuwashima »

Dear all,

Well, what a weekend! A fairly middling Grand Prix was enlivened by yet another clash between Hamilton and Massa. A dog ran across the track. Metallica cancelled. Also, we did a live pre-race show and race commentary, all streamed live across the interwebs.

Believe it or not, it was not a simple undertaking, so a final thanks to everyone who made it worthwhile and watched, and for those of you who did not or could not, here's your chance to catch up on this site's biggest embarrassment yet: 25 mins of idiocy followed by 1hr 50mins of endless and repetitive waffle. Enjoy!

(Note the pre-race video show, despite the poor quality, is still a fairly hefty 98meg download, so if you can't get it, it's probably because our servers have given up the ghost or we've exceeded what little bandwidth we pay for annually to host this site!!)

Comments, papayas etc below.

Cheers,
Jamie

Thanks for uploading. It's been great to hear (and see) a lot of podcasting recently, thanks!

I somehow managed to sync together the coverage on BBC iplayer (on mute of course) with the podcast. Thanks for a fantastically entertaining couple of hours!!

(Though I think you should have referred to Barrichello as Zippy from Rainbow rather than Niles from Frasier). ;-)

Also shame Nick Heidfeld wasn't still racing then he could have been "Slightly Boring"!!! Oh and Kubica could have been "Pinocchio"!!

Any chance that the video could have the audio track ripped so it can be listened to as a podcast? Or does the video need pictures?

There was an onboard flying lap of Bruno Senna, so the pictures are pretty important.

Guys....i actually made an account purely to tell you how much I enjoyed the fact you called Rubens "Niles from Frasier".....i've been calling him that for 10 years but noone agreed with me....and there is no validation quite like the validation from F1rejects.
Awesome site, and awesome podcast. Just wish you did it more regularly!!
Peace
