CMX Viewer is also a handy tool if you want to see what your skins look like without starting LFS.

Alitalia is interested in placing Stefan Kuntz at Grands Travaux.

Like white that hasn't been washed for a few months :P whatever looks most like the picture of the metro i posted, but less variation in colours.
This is a livery for a team that is called 'grand useless works' so it doesn't need to look racy. It needs to represent the Belgian spirit of not finishing things they

Nupe, can you please make me an interim livery as I'm a bit too busy to do one myself for the next few weeks. Use the blue colour from this as the main colour for the LFS car. Peroni and Parmalat are primary sponsors and Alitalia secondary. My cars are #3 and #4. Please also include Pirelli logos in small spaces as my tyre supplier.

Fine :P This is my last attempt at making it look as dirty and unfinished as possible:

Would you mind replacing the Peroni logo on the sidepod with this one instead - colouring it red obviously. And rotating the Parmalat logos on the horizontal section by 180 degrees so they are facing outwards.

One last thing, the Peroni logo on the rear wing should be replaced by a Lancia logo, and another Lancia logo should be placed at the tip of the nose below the car number. Apart from that it's fine :)

I'll be away until Sunday evening, so there's not going to be much going on here until then. Also, to give team owners more time to enter the series (there's currently no limit on teams, only the amount of cars that will qualify), plan/create their liveries, sign drivers and start using credits (remember, choose form engine development, chassis development, sabotage or DNQ bailout), I'll be delaying the first race with a couple of days. I'll announce the actual date later.

Well, I'll just keep the camera away from your cars and I should be fine.

Also, forgot to remind you in my previous post that if you want to upgrade your car or sabotage others, send me an e-mail. Unless you want everyone to know about them, of course. :P

would it be theoreticall possible to sabotage myself, and win a court case against myself? (just asking... )

no i first want to finish my driver line up with canadian Berthold Brunswick, the test-driver from one of the other championships

and if kostas wants to do an over-the-top livery - i think he's getting the taste of it - get me a car with Magritte-paintings, yes that is a challenge, not a request :P

With the launch of the team's livery, Jones Racing has announced it has signed a number of new sponsors in an effort to propel it's new RoLFS entry to the front of the grid. Whilst Castrol, Beta Tools and Loctite have all signed up alongside their existing commitments to the team in the F1RWRS, new sponsors 3M, Lucas and ESSVE have also joined. In addition, recently announced driver Josh Carlisle has been able to source sponsorship from foodstuff giant Nestle, who are seeking to promote their Lion brand of chocolate bars to a global audience. A second driver remains to be signed however, and Sammy Jones declared that the seat is open to any offers.

"We'll consider anyone" said an upbeat Jones at the car's launch, "nationality, and now sponsorship is not a problem at all, we'd just like someone who feels they have good talent and a point to prove, in that second seat. Any and all applications are welcome."

I actually hadn't thought about that loophole, so I'm glad you brought that up before the first race. I'll edit the rules to prevent it as soon as I get home (writing on a mobile phone is awful).

Autosport wrote:Jones signs Jung to second seat

The second seat at the Jones Racing team was confirmed last night as being filled by American-Korean Tristan Jung. Jung has had previous experience at a number of teams in the F1RWRS, but found himself on the wrong side of the law following an attempted merger between the ARC and Trueba teams was led by him. Having fled to Bangladesh, Jung has now cleared his name and Sammy Jones has given him the ticket to re-start his motorsport career, this time in the RoLFS series. Jung will partner the already-signed Josh Carlisle for all 12 rounds of the upcoming 2014 RoLFS season.

17-year-old Alexandre Dorval interested in second Hydook seat

In a recent press conference, Alexandre Dorval, currently leading the Formula Renault 2.0 championship, announced his interest in the currently vacant second seat at Hydook Racing in the new RoLFS series.

Coming from Marche-en-Famenne, the Belgian brings sponsorship from AB InBev brand Jupiler, public transport company TEC and cable TV provider VOO.

Belgian racing driver Alexandre Dorval will be driving for Hydook in Rejects of LFS.
Dorval, who raced in Formula Renault 2.0 last season will partner Croatian driver Anton Bosevic.

Couple of pointers: Use higher resolution, if possible. It looks quite awful when the game stretches a 640x640 skin on the car. Also, I found out that there's still some stretching with the sponsors. The game doesn't seem to mind if you use skins that don't have an aspect ratio of 1.000 (=height and width are the same), so what I'd suggest you to do is to first resize the basic skin to 1280x1024, then apply all the sponsors/decals on it and then just send it back to me (use some file sharing service instead of image services to prevent it getting resized).

Yeah it seems Photobucket auto resizes it to 640x640, so here's the link to a 1024x1024 one - I resized it to 1280x1024 in Paint.NET and then saved it as 1024x1024. Sorry about that!

First race will take place on Thursday 1st March, approximately 17:00 GMT. So, let's take a look at the general situation we're having here.

Coke and Magnum Racing, Takagi Racing Enterprises, ZimSport and Ural Racing haven't yet announced their liveries. I can make something quick, if you just give me the basic idea to work on.

Coke and Magnum Racing, Grands Travaux Inutiles and ZimSport haven't yet announced their second drivers (unless they want to keep themselves as one-driver teams, which is also a possibility). Stefan Kuntz (controlled by kostas22) is still without a drive.

Most teams haven't yet used their credits on car development, sabotage, or DNQ-bailouts.

Also, as I've seen that some of you have already started adding RoLFS in your team/driver profiles, I'm going ahead with this:

RoLFS 2014 calendar:
1. Blackwood Feature - GP Track - 31 laps
2. Blackwood Sprint - Gp Track Reversed - 16 laps

3. South City Feature - City Long - 25 laps
4. South City Sprint - Sprint 1 - 25 laps

5. Fern Bay Feature - Black - 16 laps
6. Fern Bay Sprint - Green - 17 laps

7. Kyoto Ring Feature - GP Long - 14 laps
8. Kyoto Ring Sprint - National - 10 laps

9. Westhill Feature - International - 20 laps
10. Westhill Sprint - International Reversed - 10 laps

11. Aston Feature - Grand Prix - 12 laps
12. Aston Sprint - North - 10 laps

I already said that Mike Stern will be ZimSport's second driver. And as for the livery, I've had precisely no success with it, so can you design something? It needs to be dark blue and white with some orange, and sponsorship from Telstra (sidepod), Tooheys (wings) and Holden (engine cover).

Apologies, I seem to have missed that. Entry list has been updated accordingly. I will design a livery for you soon.

And that will leave G.T.I. with the only remaining spot, unless we get new entries. Got any ideas for the livery, or will you trust my judgment?

Fixed the entry list accordingly.

More liveries done:

ZimSport

Coke and Magnum Racing

Ural Racing

This leaves Takagi Racing Enterprises as the only team with no specific livery.

Also, removed the restriction that you were only allowed to purchase one item per weekend. You can now do all of them, within the limits imposed of course.

For all interested (mostly for Wiki articles), the chassis we're going to use is named Scaven S11B, and the engine is a Judd V8.
