And yet (right up until that final error) you've got a fine grasp of SPG. There are university students - some who are on PhD courses - who are barely able to string a coherent sentence together and have no concept of what a capital letter or a semicolon is. Back in my day, when I was in single figures, I'd get a napalm enema for writing like these youngsters do.

That looks quite painful...
In defence of PhD's I reckon that they are so used to chemistry formulas or mathematical abstract functions that these started to be their native language. Although it will be quite hard to find a PhD in literature who cannot string a coherent language. Not to say they don't exist...

I am 3rd, and within 350 posts of Phoenix in 2nd. Whether I am catching up or not, I am not really sure.

AdrianSutil has caught up quite rapidly to me, and I just cannot activate KERS (i.e, have enough time to post) to maintain the gap. It'll be below 50 posts by the end of today

I'll probably overtake you at around the 7500-post mark, give or take...

I've overtaken both Ferrim and Tristan1117 recently and am now only a handful behind both Waris and the first Coops. 35 posts between me and East Londoner so the gap, like Perez on Alonso yesterday, is ever shrinking

Well put Phoenix. Mind if I join in?

Thanks to maths work forcing me offline yesterday, AdrianSutil has cut my lead quite badly.
(My maths teacher gave me a past paper to do yesterday morning, as he was unavaliable to teach my maths class. In the 3 1/2 hour free period I had, I did precisely sod all, and thus I did it last night A very student approach methinks )

A very student approach. Wait until you get to uni.
Well, I've completely had it now in my attempts to keep AdrianSutil behind me. The maths teacher has given me another lot of past papers to do over the Easter holidays and combined with revision for the rest of my subjects, my time on here is going to be reduced.

only 12 posts including this one. I'm only posting about 5-6 times a day though, surprised how quickly I've caught up.

I have a feeling I will never in my lifetime reach higher than 4th position. The stationary CalrosFerreira is less than 700 posts away, but dr-baker in 3rd is 1900 posts ahead

I'm afraid not. You only post half as often as I do (despite the fact that I have been away the past week.)

More to the point, you've taken Eurobrun's method of posting to extremely annoying levels. At least Eurobrun managed to turn that into a character trait for his virtual characters
