Another F1 Rejects Forum!

Post by Londoner »

Whilst the website was being a complete arse about an hour ago, I tried to access the forum by searching for it using that Google thing :P. Typically, it didn't work, but I found this in the search results. Another forum going under the name of F1 Rejects! :o

http://www.formularejects.proboards.com/

Looking through, I think the main admin didn't know of the existance of this madhouse when she thought of a name for her forum.

And it appears she's very against threads going off-topic, so we'd all be in big trouble if we joined up!

I've always said that this forum is lacking a multi-page thread of pictures of Jules Bianchi.

She should have google checked the name. I say we do a consorted attack in the name of HWNSNBM!

Jules Bianchi is still not an F1 reject either, for HWNSNBM's sake...

Well, the main admin stated that she created a BRUNO SENNA forum that eventually decended into chaos, which was why she created this new forum. I'm still wondering how she managed to miss this forum/website, seeing as F1 Rejects has been on the web for over 12 years now...

How can you create a Bruno Senna forum and hope that it doesn't descends into chaos? Baffles me...

Anyway, she said that it was made with, ahem, the reject members from the BS forum. I think she knows F1 Rejects site. Probably. Calling themselves F1 Rejects cannot have come from the thin air. Also, they don't seem to share our love for the underdogs...

That being said, I think I've just booked myself a first-class ticket to a multi-day ban from Phoenix for being the guy pulling the strings.

My preferred tactic to deal with this is to go and spread the good name of this forum and HWNSNBM over there along with all our love. I follow Wizzie suggestion and nominate Dr Baker to go there and do this :P. If it fails, then we may employ dirtier tactics...

In that case, operation Formula1Fan has been put on indefinite hold (sorry Eurobrun, I love this forum too much to risk a ban)

I have an idea.

Somebody infiltrate that board and then start spamming it with threads asking innocently if it's related to the world-famous www.f1rejects.com website.

That'll get the message across pretty quickly.

 Did I just say that out loud? :o

I would do it myself but the mod there, who is called Anna, has a fondness for Alonso and that pretty much places her lower than my current standards threshold when it comes to women. Unless she likes him for his eyebrows that is...
But I know one or two members who might disregard this small detail.

Erm, looks like 'marussiano1fan' jumped the gun on us. Now, where I have seen someone who fits that nickname? Oh yeah...

Anyway, that forum seems to have a lack of activity in the last month, so I am unsure if people are still using it.

Yeah, the post by "marussiano1fan" is quite blunt to be honest. Saying that their forum is a "poor excuse of a 'forum'" right in your introductory text isn't very gentle. I prefer shinji's post, that should make them scratch their heads!

Awww ... that post was a bit mean. Whoever posted it might want to edit it or remove it. Not nice to tell someone else's board that they're embarrassing or demeaning our site. They probably didn't know about us. Just because we're a well-established community doesn't mean we should belittle other communities out there.

Nope. We should do the total opposite. If they fail to accept HWNSNBM as the all-conquering, all-powerful leader, we should destroy them.

Thank you all for the vote of confidence in me becoming the diplomatic envoy to this other forum as our representative. At the moment, I am on holiday with a pub with a dodgy, inconsistent wifi, but will take a better look next week. In the meantime, it looks like shinji has your approval, so let's allow him the role!

BUMP

I fear that the 'imposter' F1 Rejects forum has died a death, because I'd have thought that the Reverend's victory would have sparked some life into it. But no. And with this forum devirused and cleaned up, we have no need to decamp over there...
