GTRWRS - The tin-top feeder series

Post by DemocalypseNow »

From the people that brought you Trackmania Rejects Rally Championship comes the newest Reject World Race Series feeder series - the GT Reject World Race Series.

The GTRWRS combines machinery from the biggest tin-top disciplines in the world into one high-profile competition, featuring manufacturer backed teams from Alfa Romeo, Mercedes-Benz, Holden and Toyota among others.

This is a feeder series with a difference - it is up to YOU to make sure your driver succeeds. Take the wheel at a selection of tracks that make up the F1RWRS, F2RWRS and F3RWRS calendars on your own, racing against the clock to beat your rivals.

The series will be run using the game Trackmania - download it here for free if you don't already have a copy.

A calendar will be announced following the release of events & dates for the F1/F2/F3RWRS 2015 seasons.

There are nine manufacturers running three cars each, and eight of said nine manufacturers are looking for team principals to run them. Drivers will have to keep on their toes, as there is no limit for driver changes during the season. If you're performing badly, expect to be traded! Don't worry though, if you have zero experience with Trackmania, there is a Rookie Cup to be fought for, so your team trading you may not be so wise.

To submit an entry, please use the following template;
DRIVER NAME (add [RC] tag for rookie driver)
DRIVER NATIONALITY
CAR NUMBER & MANUFACTURER

As per usual, everything is on a first come, first served basis. If all 27 slots are filled, one extra car will be added to each manufacturer.

Just out of curiosity, can TMRRC drivers compete in this.

Also, I call Mercedes Benz. Chris Forbes is the team manager.

TMMRC? I don't know. It depends how it all fits together with the calendar. I guess they could. BTW, remember both you and TMLW can have a driver each.

I'll pick Honda. Team principal goes by the name of Alex Rostowski.
First driver will be an up-and-coming Polish driver, Rudolf Forch.

I'd like to enter a driver for the #21 Honda seat, his name is Akira Tomonosuke [RC!], an up and coming 21-year old hotshot, finishing 3rd overall in the previous year in GT300.

A Yuji Ide for this series? YES! :D

Unless there is a significant increase of interest in this series soon, I'm giving it the can. 3 drivers in an entire championship would be the most rejecful of all reject championships ever

Maybe this should be shelved whilst your other Track Mania contest is running, no offence but I don't think I could spare the time for two Track Mania series! (says the guy who is attempting to run two GPM2 series!)

I completely agree with this. I initially thought of entering, but then decided against it because I just have too much on right now as well as focussing on two TrackMania championships. I'd certainly be interested in a sim championship for GT cars or other tin-tops though, if that's something to be considered!
