F1 Rejects F.C.
Seeing as the Vanuatu thread has died a sorry death it seems, I've decided to create a new football themed championship in its place.
Il Barone Rampante owner Alessandro Linari has rescued the bankrupted Ebbsfleet United, a team in the Blue Square Bet South league. It has been renamed F1 Rejects F.C., and the squad is being given a complete overhaul.
While the club is currently in negotiations with Scunthorpe United over signing striker Chris Dagnall, the team is looking to new young reject talents to build a new squad for the future.
His aim is 'simple' apparently; drag the club from the lowest ebb of professional football to the Champions League. Not at all difficult eh?
This was the former squad attached to the "Dagenham & Rejects" squad. These players can be re-confirmed, however. Having now learned how to use FM's editor properly, I'll need more info out of everyone though.

Re: Dageham & Rejects F.C.
Kevin Largecross is ready to be Dagenham & Rejects best striker. Now he wants to know who our local rivals are, so he can compose some smear songs into their direction.
Best attribute: has strong nerves
Worst attribute: can be hotshot sometimes
Bio will follow.

Boston United, because they cheated and cost the Daggers the Conference league title as a result.
Re: Dageham & Rejects F.C.

Re: Dageham & Rejects F.C.
Name: Dmitri Akinemitrabantkovikov (Ack-i-nem-e-tra-bant-cough-e-cough)
Nationality: Russia
Born: 2 April 1989, St. Petersburg, USSR
Age:23
Previous clubs: Lokomotiv Moscow
Position: CB
BIO
Born in the outer suburbs of St.Petersburg, Dmitri had a troubled childhood. His parents were extremely poor, and Dmitri often had little food. One day he saw something in the canal that wasn't a dead dog or a bottle of Smirnoff's finest; a ball. Although he was disheartened when he realised it was a rock solid Mitre, Dmitri practised his skills day by day. Despite his unpronouncable last name, he has become one of Russias greatest footballing prodigees. When he is not training, Dmitri likes to spend his time drinking and meeting women. Dmitri also has played for Russia under 21s and Lokomotiv Moscow.
Dmitri could possibly bring Lukoil shirt sponsorship to the club
Strengths: Clearances, Tackling, Passing, Heading, Penalties
Weaknesses: Shooting, Free Kicks, English language
Shirt name Dmitri recognizes that his name is too long and unpronouncable, so he would like Nesti(russian for bear) on his shirt instead

Ed Kevin
9/5/1994
Irish/Italian
Right Back
Best Attributes: Acceleration, Tackling, Positioning, Long Throws
Worst Attributes: Finishing, Influence, Penalty Taking, Jumping
Favourite Club: Varese
Career to this point
Factual:
-Joined Cabinteely FC in south Dublin at the age of 7, after a couple of years of religiously playing football in the yard at lunchtime in school
-Played for the U8F, U9C and won the, um, 'prestigious' Cabo U10B Player of the Year as they won promotion to the A League for U11 in the 2004/05 season
(what unfortunately happened at this point - my weird school forced my friend and I to play rugby on Saturday mornings instead of play football, bringing about the end of my formal career
)
Fictional:
-Captains the Cabo Massive to U11, U12 and U13 glory, in All-Ireland competition in the latter two
-Involvement with Bray Wanderers aged 14
-Off the bench in Eircom League for Wand'rers at 15
-Abandons academic career by moving to England, in order to pursue success in football
-Joins Dags at start of 2011/12 season

Re: Dageham & Rejects F.C.
I quote from the Vanuatu thread, he who might abandon a promising career in rallying in favour of some basement-division football:
Name: Guðmundur "Hacksaw" Einarsson
Date of Birth: 3 September 1988
Nationality: Icelandic
Height: 6'3" - bigger than my big bro
Position: central defender, because that's where the best tackles come from - but could play on the left or right if necessary
Favourite Teams: Þór Akureyri (in Iceland), Maidstone United (in England), charity football teams that my brother plays on with other F1RMGP drivers
Least Favourite teams: Manchester United, Manchester United, Manchester United, and whichever team it was in the old English Fourth Division that ratted on Maidstone about their dodgy finances. Also, Manchester United.
Favourite Players or Ex Players: Chris Dagnall, obviously; Vinnie Jones, again; Stuart Pearce; and any rock-hard defender who'd put an opposing striker in hospital first and ask questions later
Least Favourite players or ex players: any flouncing nonce who will dive to get a penalty, which is pretty much all of them these days, but particularly Cristiano Ronaldo
Best attributes: being very tall, completely indestructible, immune to cold weather, and utterly unafraid to get sent off every match for a bone-splintering tackle that even Norman "Bite Yer Legs" Hunter wouldn't have tried
Worst attributes: being constantly suspended for violent tackles, too much of a taste for brennivín, eating hákarl in the dressing room
Other sports attempted: ice hockey (didn't like it, not violent enough), sword fighting, custard wrestling (actually, just watching that will do)
Favoured squad number: 2½
By the way, negotiatins with Scunthorpe United to sign Chris Dagnall will come to nothing, because he plays for Barnsley these days, as I found out on the 2014 F1RMGP thread.

Any Way, here we go::
Name: Diego Diegoman
Position: Right Wing
Born: 01.11.92
Nation:Wales/Brazil
Bio: Born in Cardiff Diego made a name for himself selling hair gel, competetive diving and a fake tan spokesman, it was seen therefore that football was the ideal goal, depsite never leaving the UK Diego legally changed his name from Tom Jones back in 2010, he also claims to be part Brazilan so he seems more "International" Dageham & Rejects FC's most flamboyant player.
Strongest skills: Flair, Creativity, Speed, Dribblin
Weakest skills: Passing(is for sissys),Stamina, strength, Injury Prone. Our very own paper bag.
If you want to put him as goalkeeper then be my guest.

Re: Dageham & Rejects F.C.
If people don't want to be sub goalie - understandable I guess - give Ed Kevin a decent goalkeeper rating in case of red cards/injury to van Nieuwenhuijzen.
Better than 'Tour in a suit case' Takagi.

How it fits into the existing DeLorean/phone booth combination is a mystery for the ages, though.

Goalkeepers only from here on in. Outfielders roster is full.
Also, Diego Diegoman sounds a lot like a Welsh version of Leite Adriano.

Kostas, I just realized something. Lukas entered Kenta Yamamoto but you approved Kumimoto (Eurobrun's) instead. Since I already entered Iskandar, it is too late, isn't it?

Yes, I completely missed Lukas' post...

Iskandar can still be a goalkeeper though.

Barcelona-style with short passes

No i just want to put a little bit of myself in it, i have absolutely no accuracy for long passes, but because i'm fast enough, i can be functional on that position, more based on position, rather than precision.
It actually makes sense if you try it. Oh yeah that's right, you're from the UK, where they only do long passes

I don't know what i want and i want it now!

It's all about agility.

Better than 'Tour in a suit case' Takagi.
