Wha...? No? How does that work? BMW engine income being routed to Williams F1 Team is surely against the rules? Shadaza, please step in and stop this bathplugging idiot from making up his own rules again?

Minardi is somewhat confused. Two teams, one a long-standing national ally, and one a newly formed ally, are starting to get on our nerves with their antics and we are considering a full-scale war against both of them.

Indeed, we are making two seperate formal complaints to the FIA. We are protesting Ferrari's turbocharger, and we are protesting against alleged fraudulent business practises by BMW Williams F1 Team.

In terms of chief staff, for everyone that hasn't signed key staff I just resigned your current head of dept.

Another thing I am looking forward too at the start of the next season is the sponsor value reshuffle. Some sponsors will gain in value others will lose out.

So there was no scope for Minardi to poach Adrian Newey? :(

you can sign him for the 2005, I had key staff as a free for all for a while but perhaps didn't explain it clear enough. I didn't want to delay things too much with signing of staff.

McLaren, Sauber and Ansimov are the 3 teams not to have at least 2 drivers confirmed for 2004.

I have finally lost patience with The_Lukas. I will now allow Ansimov to be taken over by somebody else. Blind Cave Salamander has priority as he is on the reserve list, so if your reading this buddy the team is yours.

Toyota almost certainly will (sorry Fmecha!) Though getting in a pay driver and losing Montoya will certainly help, I am just worried that they might not have enough finances to even start 2004, if they do scrape through, they have a chance to get through a good portion of the year.

McLaren, Renault, Toyota, Minardi, Ansimov and Arrows have all lost over half their budget however this is slightly shaded over the fact that all teams begun the year with no sponsorship. So keeping an eye on finances for you guys should be important.

All the other teams should easily survive the next season.

How many staff do Minardi have in each department? We might downsize slightly. And also, we've got Tarso Marques who can step in to provide sponsorship money if need be :)

Renault will not bring the spare car to races and will downsize in each department by getting rid of the worse staff.

20 excellent designers, 10 very good 5 good (2.725 Million per year)
20 e, 10vg, 5 g Engineers (1.355 Million per year)
20 e, 10vg, 5 g Mechanics (1.170 Milion per year)
10 e, Commercial (600k per year)

Minardi are not in as bad a posistion as most of the teams on the list.

eurobrun wrote:Renault will not bring the spare car to races and will downsize in each department by getting rid of the worse staff.

Ok then.
I sacked all the Average and Trainee staff in all departments, if you want to know how much your spending in each department let me know.

I have already signed you an engine, its basically the same spec as the Toyota engine so it should all be fair play, The interest rate is 10% so a 1 million loan would cost 1.1 million. (I hope!)

Do you have a loan figure in mind?

Overall that accounts to a saving of about 1 million. On yearly expense.

For next races, we, at Toyota, will announce some cost-cutting measures:

  1. We will not bring spare car.
  2. We will go for cheaper (but good) hospitality.
  3. We will bring only 60% of spareparts.

No Problem, just the 2nd Sauber driver and the Ansimov team to go.

In a cross advert scenario just as the Ansimov team is avaliable here, the Benetton and Sauber teams are available in the Chairman game.

Oh and Fmecha, the loan I was thinking of withdrawing for the team was 2.5 Million, if you want a different sum let me know.
I will implement the cost cutting measures from the next race on.

Williams would like to know what the current championship standings look like as, from memory, you haven't posted them in a while.

Also, Mr Rennis himself would like to know who won't have a new car ready for next season, simply because he wants to point at them and laugh

Fair enough.
Drivers:
1.Michael Schumacher 81
2.Jean Alesi 54
3.Rubens Barrichello 50
4.Fernando Alonso 45
5.Jarno Trulli 42
6.Ralf Schumacher 37
7.Nick Heidfeld 33
8.Mark Webber 32
9.Giancarlo Fisichella 31
10.Kimi Raikkonen 29
11.Jenson Button 22
12.HWNSNBM 15
13.Fellipe Massa 14 (1 win)
14.Takuma Sato 14
15.HH Frentzen 12
16.Luca Badoer 11 ( 1 3rd)
17.Mika Hakkinen 11
18.Dario Franchitti 9
19.Ricardo Zonta 8 (1 3rd)
20.Tiago Monterio 8
21.Adrian Sutil 7
22.Alex Wurz 6
23.Olivier Panis 4
24.Pedro de la Rosa 3 (1 6th)
25.Heikki Kovalainen 3
26.Enrico Toccacello 2
27.Tony Kanaan 2
NC.Enrique Bernoldi
NC.Ryan Briscoe
NC.Juan Pablo Montoya

Constructors
1.McLaren 125 *
2.Renault 111 *
3.Ferrari 87
4.BAR 65
5.Williams 53
6.Sauber 43
7.Jaguar 25
8.Jordan 23
9.Arrows 21
10.Minardi 20
11.Asiatech 5
12.Toyota 4
13.Ansimov 3

McLaren, Sauber and Ansimov won't have their new car ready 100%. Arrows are going to be so touch and go, they are on 91% completion and last round added 8% to the car.

Williams steal Jaguars' suspension, Jaguar steal Minardis' Transmission. Minardi already stole something this round so couldn't break in to another team, phew.

Also Jaguar have not signed a 2nd driver yet (not renewed Luca Badoers contract) If nothing is done James Courtney will be promoted to the 2nd driver for 2004.

Yeah. Briscoe's already proven that he's too accident prone for a top-line drive. Maybe a year at Arrows might mellow him out.

I wish to get the final race of the season done soon.

1.Fmecha did not state a loan amount so unless otherwise stated 2.5 Million will be the loan amount.
2.Sauber have not set a second driver. Whoever the Ai give as the 2nd driver will have his contract extended to the end of 2004. (Unless resolved of course)
3.Ansimov is now open for anybody to take, if some one wants to runs Ansimov as their second team then be my guest (though you must relieve it if somebody with no teams wishes to join.)

Can teams be renamed at this stage?

If so, I feel, as the works representative of Honda, it is my duty to create...SOOPAH AGURI!
Which Japanese drivers are still available to sign?

I think it could be possible via save game hex editing.

Yep, it is. Just about all names can be edited, if needed! :) The only limitation is that the new names need to be of equal or shorter length than what they are replacing.

So I guess in game it should be called S Aguri. That assumes the maximum of 7 includes spaces.

Don't we still have Zonta? If not, just hire the cheapest driver on the market. What engines are on the market for next year?

Yes, I am aware that I am running this team into the ground.

You do have Zonta and Wurz, but neither are signed for 2004, in terms of engines, the 3 that are not owned by anybody are Supertech, Zytek and Nissan. The rest you are going to have to "negotiate" for.

The only Japanese driver left is the rather Un-Honda Kazuki Nakajima.
