Let's just say KazNak decided to switch alleigance then. After all, Satoru was a Honda driver!

Can you also provide me with a list of drivers who are not under contract for next season please? And what engine is Ansimov tied down to? And how do we get Honda engines, even if they're not the latest spec?

Ansimov is to officially become Super Aguri.
They will run Customer Honda engines and have confirmed Kazuki Nakajima as one of their drivers.

They face a difficult task in 2004 as they will have to begin the season still with the 2001 (2002?) Prost car and a tricky financial posistion. But the Honda powerplant is certainly a boost from the WOEFUL Hart Engine.

*Edit* Finding an Engine for the Ansimov team is a pain. For some reason they can't use the Customer Hondas because of "The way they ended working with them last time." despite the fact this is season 1 and they are running Hart Engines...

The Honda engine issue can be taken care of with savegame editing - I just tested it and it works like a charm, by just changing one hex address!

I also assume Adrian Sutil is still racing for either Asiatech or Ansimov next year? If that's the case, Arrows will have an unlikely driving partnership in Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton, with Ryan Briscoe as our official test driver.

And it looks like being an awesome end of the year battle between Jaguar, Minardi, Jordan and ourselves for 7th :)

When the game started you wanted Sutil contracted for 2 years, he is still contracted to Arrows for 2004!

Kostas, the new car chasis for Ansimov/Super Aguri is 85% complete so it will be ready after only 2 or 3 rounds.

What Asian drivers & IRL drivers are currently available to sign? Also, throw everything at getting the new car ready, I understand it's touch and go to get it finished in time.

New staff levels for Super Aguri;

15 excellent staff and 3 very good staff for all departments except commercial, who will use 8 excellent staff and 2 very good staff. Also, we want to sign Gustav Brunner in advance for when his current contract expires Image

Alex Wurz is probably the highest profile driver out of contract that is reasonable(Sauber went fro Zonta) Along with the slightly dearer Villeneuve, Coulthard and Michael Schumacher.

Asian drivers, there is Alex Yoong and Narain Karthikeyan.

IRL Helio Castroneves, Seb Bourdais and Gil de Ferran

We'll take Bourdais as our second driver and Yoong as our tester.

Also, let it be known, it is destiny for Taku to join this team eventually

You need to let them have BMW - it would annoy Williams and that makes it worth it.

Guess what, Round 16!

Image

The final qualy of the season and it's another Ferrari pole. Ferrari took 15 out of 16 poles, with only HWNSNBM's pole in Catalunya breaking Ferrari dominance.
Massa and Panis have shockers and Jean Alesi is a long way behind Alonso. Fisichella makes his return and this is the last qualifying session for Ansimov as they are to become Super Aguri Honda next year.

The race is 53 laps

Alonso manages to grab 2nd in the drivers championship with a win after Ralf Schumacher spun off unpressured. Button was a clear 2nd, he was ahead of Wilson when Wilsons engine died, handing a surprise podium to Hakkinen and the Minardi team, who overhaul Arrows at the final round.

Bravo.

I will post the full story tomorrow but first the financial impact of getting new cars was much larger then I previously thought and now only Ferrari and Jaguar have over 10 million in the bank.

Toyota have the hilarious bank balance of only 88k. Considering I took out a 0.550 Million loan (the biggest I could manage) talk about a close shave.

Because the teams usually have to pay to replace the old chassis with the new ones. However, this should usually cost about $1 million at most. :?
