MLDC has dissapeared because of having spent most of their budget in ROLFS.
So i will enter Wafflesports with François Duval, the only rally driver that crashes more frequently than Latvala, and Vladimir Chagin, who is a rally legend and brings technology from Kamaz with him.
Wafflesports has its headquarters in the Atomium in Brussels, still the coolest architectural landmark in the world.

Embassy-Hill Ferrari have decided to pull out, considering the series died before.
I'll be entering a new team: Spyker-Racing
Drivers: Adrian Sutil and Jos Verstappen
Chassis: What can I have?
Engine: The same engine Spyker actually used in 2007, a Ferrari V8(10?)

I quite liked their orange and black with the Superfund logo anyway so that'll be what it is.

Re: The Street Racing League - Brought to you by F1 Rejects
Here we go, Group Stage time.
The 18 teams in SRL are split into three pots according to their championship position at the point of cancellation which leads to six groups of three teams which are as follows...
Group A:
Skoda Team Cyprus
Motorsport Bleu
Going For Gold Racing
Group B:
Garry Rogers SRL Motorsport
555 Racing
Top Gun Racing
Group C:
Glass Hammer Racing
Hydook Grand Prix
Spyker Racing
Group D:
Aeroracing Engineering
Trueba Corse
Prada Grand Prix
Group E:
Euromotor
RT Solvalou
Martini Racing
Group F:
Mustafaa Racing
Team Holden
Wafflesports
Now, on each Street Challenge there will be two races - one involving Groups A, C, E and one involving B, D, F. While all 18 cars of these groups will fight on track, your team only truly fights against the other teams in your group with the best driver of a group earning six points and the worst only earning one. The two teams with the most points after St. Petersburg will advance to the knockout round together with Euromotor.

As they were leading the championship at the time of cancellation, Euromotor will get a bye and have already qualified for the knockout round.

On second thought, I think you should remove Métro Léger De Charleroi, because This withdrew the team. Reinistiate Trueba in place of MLDC.

Since I made a mistake and had one team too much, Euromotor are out of luck and will have to enter the group stage which has been redrawn for fairness. I sure hope everything is okay now. Either way, you will get the first race this evening.

A new era begins, the Street Racing Leauge returns on the 5 and 6 October 2013 under the guidance of Kay Lon who was present to see the first group of cars take the track for a 120 km race. Since most of the cars remained unchanged, it was obvious that the balance of power would not see radical changes and since the group draw pretty much forced the two most powerful teams in one race, there was no doubt that the qualifying and race would see either Euromotor or Team Cyprus walk away with the win. The new group system immediately saw different approaches to the race, such as Euromotor who did not bother trying to keep up with Barrichello out-front, instead opting for a more secure one-stop strategy (although Frentzen never let the distance to his Brazilian opponent never grow bigger than 10 seconds before he was forced to retire). This one-stop strategy even payed off, Bertrand Gachot drove almost unnoticed within a stop's range and had the upper hand against Barrichello taking the win just before the 50-minute limit. A very interesting story is going down at Martini Racing, whilst lacking competitive power their car seems to handle the streets bloody well and despite finishing dead last on the track, they lead their group due to other cars retiring. Will their strategy bring them in the knockout round or even in the finals?

No-one said anything to me about engines

If I can have it swapped out for the next round I want a Alfa Romeo 890T 1.5L V8 Turbo

It says so in the OP and in several other posts. But, being generous as he is - it comes with being the Best In The World™ at what he does - Kay Lon allows this single change due to a rejectful reason I am going to make up before St. Petersburg.

If there is one thing that can be said about this race it's that it was impossible to predict a winner - at first it looked like we would see a thrilling battle between Jason Bargwanna and the legend Michael Schumacher until the latter had a bad spin and could thank his god (a.k.a. HWNSNBM) for not hitting the wall. Bargwanna did not have much from it, however, he retired shortly afterwards. Former rallye driver Duval looked good, however he was beaten by Langes who however suffered from an awful strategy giving first position back to François Duval who finally kept it on track to take an impressive win on his SRL debut. Wafflesport's owner happily recieved the trophy from Kay Lon and will be confident in his chances to advance to the knockout round. For the fans of statistics: in both races, the fourth-placed starter ended up winning the race. The race did not went without a healthy dose of controversy. Despite leading his group - with Amati the only other runner still in the race and down in eight - he nearly took out himself and Claudio Langes on the second-to-last lap, trying to take third place ... unsuccessfully. Lon advised the "useless parasite" to "finally leave racing for good" but decided together with the stewards against a penalty due to nobody suffering any obvious damage from the event.

AW BATHPLUG! That's what I get for trying to play this realistically and not just completely restart the series with new entries. Would you - as in "you, tommykl" not in "you folks" - accept if you get a bye to the knockout round because of "absence due to mourning" (I don't know why, either sacrifice someone of your staff or think of some awful incident happening to Belgium in December 2013). I am not re-simming any races.

I will accept the bye. And as a story, I'm thinking another political crisis turning bad, with Bart de Wever completely blocking everyone and everything from entering or leaving the country. How's that?

Sounds good enough for me. Thankfully we have that solved.
Why would he bother blocking you inferior Walloons? Perhaps your team was in Brussels (at the Wafflesports team presentation for example) and he invaded Brussels, as it obviousy belongs to the great nation of Flanders. Thankfully, your dear leader Di Rupo came to personally rescue you.
I also should mention Brussels Waffles are superior to Liège waffles

I don't know what i want and i want it now!

Jupiler Pro League 2011-12 Standings;
2nd Club Brugge 61pts
4th Standard Liège 51pts
Therefore, I declare your accusation of Brussels > Liège as valid

That picture stands for "challenge accepted". Was there any challenge - in the competitive sense - in the post, no there wasn't. Aaaargh, get your macros and memetic pictures right, you probably don't like it if people were to confuse AC and Inter, so please...

Challenge accepted being used in slightly different context than ususal?

Cancer indeed spreads everywhere. Well, me complaining about the state of the Internet is like an addict complaining about low-quality heroin, it's not like we won't pump that mess into our veins.

Euromotor conquers a city named after a European city - how fitting in a way. Despite Barrichello taking the lead with a mighty impressive start, especially considering his large fuel load, there was no doubt on Frentzen taking his first win in the new SRL if his car would hold together which it did. With Bertrand Gachot profiting from the usual failure of the Volkswagen engine in the Team Cyprus cars, it could not have been any better for Euromotor who obviously win Group E as the result of their success and must be considered favourites for the finals. An amusing story took part in Group E with Martini Racing having used new engines for this weekend, after their supposed engines were not delivered to Pau in time, forcing them to buy and take engines out of local folks' Lancias. One must ponder whether it might have been better to keep those bought engines and parts because their new engine did send Grönholm to the first row but like his team mate he was forced to retire due to a transmission problem. Still, they manage to finish second in their group, advancing to the knockout round and finishing only two points behind Euromotor is nothing to be ashamed of. Group C saw a close finish for P2 (Spyker Racing took first by a mile) with Pavlovic's finish allowing his team to advance to the next round by a single point. The biggest upset was in Group A, where the double retirement of their drivers and Montoya's and Whincup's decents efforts spell the end of Skoda Team Cyprus, surely leaving their drivers disappointed.
