Should mention, since Pian has his career ending shunt at Monaco in the real F1 timeline, you won't be able to use him after the Monaco round since he never raced anything again after the crash. I'd use him at Zandvoort if you want him in a race before then.

We here at Equipe Monaco would like to state our incredible happiness regarding Louis Chiron taking the first pole position in A1GP history and would like to thank him for doing a tremendous job to give us and him a place in the record books before the first race even begins. Here's hoping he can convert the first ever pole position into winning the first ever race.

Meanwhile, Danish Motorsports and Newport Racing are satisfied and content with Nellemann and Headland respectively. But who cares, pole position for Louis!! :D

Manzon qualifying in 2nd puts us in great stead for the race but our congratulations go to Equpie Monaco who complete a very French looking front row.

Lois Chiron managed to pull it off and win the inaugural A1 Grand Prix at Silverstone but it came at the misfortune of both Robert Manzon and Peter Whitehead. Find out more here with my race summary. About to put up the full race results and standings right now.

For the record, next time on the wiki, could you check that the flag already exists for uploading duplicates of it? I spent a not-inconsiderable amount of time last week deleting duplicated flags and the one thing that drives uncle Melrose up a wall more than anything else is doing maintenance work on the wiki. And remember kids, the last thing uncle Melrose needs is a stress-related heart attack :P

Congratulations to Louis Chiron for winning the first ever race in A1GP! Everyone at Equipe Monaco would like to thank him for his fantastic drive, blah blah blah, YEAH LOUIS CHIRON FTW!

I am also simultaneously satisfied and disappointed with Nellemann and Headland for having good races, but gaining penalties.

Loving these stereotypical driver comments, especially Cantoni's. I'll run Zanvoort later this week, as usual any country with multiple drivers need to confirm their driver by Thursday.

Just ran qualifying for Zandvort. Peter Whitehead took pole for England, Italy's Piero Taruffi will start alongside him. Silverstone winner Louis Chiron could only manage 13th for Monaco.

Seriously, Louis? Thirteenth? That's still in the points and better than how the two guys from the other teams I own are doing, but coming off a win, it's a little disappointing. I suppose I shouldn't complain at him too much until I see his race pace, but I hope this is just a bad day and not an indicator of his normal pace.

Well that was a closer race this time despite overtaking seeming to be no less difficult than it seemed at Silverstone and the backmarkers not behaving much better. Robert Manzon managed to gradually climb through the order to win the Dutch A1 Grand Prix thanks in no small part to good pit-stops compared with his rivals. Piero Taruffi and Prince Bira made up the podium.

Full Results.

I would hope I would have got to the 90s long before 2040.

I'm hoping for a season per month at the very least. Speaking of which I'm hoping to run Monaco either on Monday or Tuesday so I need to know which drivers will be running for those teams with multiple drivers by then.
