I think at this stage I have enough money to max out everyone, so why not.

I believe McDoggle also has enough to max out everybody in our team.

Hopefully Mr.Muppet doesn't crash into anybody/thing today!

Good Call Racing are definately favourites for the title now.

Nah. I still think our esteemed friends at Mecha GP with Anderson have got this.
Oh and as a side note to the evil overlord who runs the series, you probably should increase the unreliability of the cars... a lot.

Nah... Mechas essentially a one car team. Anderson hasn't been anywhere the last couple of races, where we have come into our own. We'll easily wrap up the teams title (unofficially...Ferrarist, I really think there should be an official one) and van der Maeyede is closer to the points lead than ever bbefore. If Maldonado can hold it together, he could win a race, and Bianchi has already shown his credentials. With pay drivers in the car at every round now till the end of the season, there's plenty of cash coming in. This is Good Call's year.

You can enter anytime you want. And if you want to compete from the Michigan 500 on, you should hurry up a bit (Until tonight at least). But remember the 500.000 $ cap (per chassis-engine-driver combination) for newcomers!

ABC Sports wrote:Claude Speed wins anticlimatic Michigan 500
Rockstar Engineering driver Claude Speed won his first race of the season, as he dominantely won the Michigan 500. In a race that saw a lot of crashes and cautions, Speed's clever strategy, as well as his outright "Speed" brought him this comfortable win. Even current championship leader Dave Anderson wasn't in any position to win the race today, but his late-race battle with Ralf Schumacher did at least made most fans stay until the end of the race.
Points standings will follow later. BTW, you guys can hold an unofficial team championship if you want. But you'll get money for the points your drivers scored at the end of the season anyway, so if I made the team championship official, it wouldn't make any difference in terms of prize money. And now, off for some News & Rumours:
Autosport wrote:IndyCar planning to ditch some ovals for next year?
IndyCar (The sanctioning body has already renamed itself) is already planning their 2016 schedule, and most races are set to stay. However, some changes will be made. For once, IndyCar feels that there are slightly too much ovals. While IndyCar officials haven't named any tracks, tracks like Walt Disney World Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway or the Kentucky Speedway are considered to be kicked out for next year. But as there haven't been races yet at Nashville or Kentucky, a final decision can't be made. But another concern is the high attrition rate on ovals, as well as that this year's road races have been considered to be better than the oval races.
Most replacement races in contention are road or street races. One hot candidate is Long Beach, as the non-inclusion of the track has caused some controversy. IndyCar is also looking for a third race in Canada, with long-time venue Toronto being the favorite. Cleveland is also a favorite for a return into the calendar, as IndyCar tries to return to more "traditional" venues. But ovals are also in contention, such as Phoenix or Homestead. However, officials have made it clear that the 2016 schedule will keep the maximum of 22 race. Also, there aren't any further oversea races planned for now.
Ford to leave IndyCar?
The Ford Motor Company isn't satisfied with their involvement in IndyCar, as they are only supplying one driver in the field. Their main complaint is that in their opinion, IndyCar is doing "too much" for private engine builders, such as Judd or Cosworth. Because of that, Ford is currently reevaluating its IndyCar strategy. Some have advocated a complete pullout of IndyCar racing, in order to focus on other forms racing, namely stock cars. Others are trying to make Ford budding up with an existent engine builder, such as Cosworth. And why not? The Ford Cosworth combination has been one of the most successful relationships in modern American open-wheel racing. The question is, with the large amount of customers Cosworth currently has, does it even need Ford's "help"?
FIAT to join?
One manufacturer might leave IndyCar, another might join. FIAT is trying to gain a strong market share in America, and the Indy Championship Series might be a good opportunity to market the company. Some Dodge officials have been sighted at the Michigan 500, and the chances are good indeed. But FIAT isn't the wealthiest car company around, it can't said for sure if FIAT is going to enter IndyCar.

Autosprint wrote:FIAT in ICS? It's entirely possible, says Lindsay
Mastercard Lola team principal Alasdair Lindsay has revealed that rumours of FIAT making a first foray into American single seaters are legitimate, and there is a "strong" chance they will be on the grid next year.
"We did this American venture on our own this season, and we're still in the hunt for championships, and after some discussions with our European partners at FIAT Group, we concluded that we could do even better with manufacturer backing. So, there is definitely a strong possibility that FIAT Group will enter next year with their own engine. Which brand it would run under I don't know however."

You can only afford one new Reynard 15i so far. For convenience's sake, I gave it to Lestrade, because she's far ahead of Gachot in the championship. If you want a new chassis for Gachot, then make it quick, because qualifying will be up in just a few minutes, probably only seconds.

Rockstar Engineering literally drove with their new Reynard 15is to the Lausitzring, and now their driver Lance Vance even brought it on pole. Rockstar Engineering's extensive testings plus their investments into new machinery seems to pay off so far.
Qualifying didn't go that well for the German hometown heroes. Ralf Schumacher was the best of the four German drivers, with his 16th position. Championship contender Kenan Ardaoglu fared worse, as he ended up on 34th. His championship rivals fared much better, with Dave Anderson taking 4th, and Martin van der Maeyede taking 2nd place.Qualifying results for the Deutsche Post 500

Seen as I've got a brand new chassis, and fully devolped driver's, I assume it's the Chevvy letting me down, although that wasn't cheap and cheerful either

Re: F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series
Considering Vance's incredible speed, we're trying to explain why Speed was a full second slower. We're examining his car thoroughly, Claude complained of lack of rear-end stability.

Re: F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series
Assuming we have enough money to do so, McDoggle will buy another new Lola B15/00 for O'Lauchlan after this race.

Re: F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series
I'm afraid that I'll have to delay the Deutsche Post 500 a bit, as I suffered from the bug that the skill levels of my drivers were erased. But since I have the skill levels posted here, I can fix that problem. But it'll take some time. I'll try to make it quick, though.
