Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum but i am following the site since a while – it may be a little hard that my first post is this one. As my F1-Prediction game with my friends i was running since 2001 came to an end, i want to start something new – another virtual racing series based on Grand Prix 2-Racing game. Everybody has the opportunity to take one of the teams of the 1989 F1-Season. You will be the team-boss and you will make the decisions. But you can´t do anything you want, it is my role to keep it real – so everybody will have limited opportunities – for example you can´t say „i am the team-boss of AGS and i will spend all my money to get Prost as a driver.“ I will ask you about your decisions via PM from time to time – you will have enough opportunities, don´t worry! I know, this is a little bit of a confused opening-thread, but i will work on it

I´ll explain it : All the teams chosen get mail from me - step by step - so, first mclaren have now chosen their drivers and stuff - we will go down the list by ´88 constructors championship until everything is done! i´ll try to get you the drivers you want to have - but if they have already signed for other teams when you are up to decide, you have to take other ones

it will be offline championship running on my machine!

BTW : Only Real Drivers can enter (they have to get a superlicense from me

)

Stefan Johannson will drive one car, and Gabriele Tarquini the other.

yes, you can take onyx - but no renaming, please

nice that you want to have johansson and tarquini, they are very pleased to know that ... but both of them currently hoping for a better drive at the moment

they will speak to you later on, but especially tarquini seems to be very interested ... you will get mail soon (maybe not today - but tomorrow) with further informations

I fancy running the Benetton team for 1989, with Riccardo Patrese and Martin Brundle as the drivers.

Used to have GP3 many years back. Absolutely fantastic game. I was rather upset when it stopped working on my computer. :cry:

nice to have some replies in such a short time

you just have to choose your teams now, you can also post some driver wishes, sure... but contracts will be made later ...

I will take the reins of Scuderia Italia. De Crasheris will be retained but the other driver is TBC. Investigating the possibility of signing the following drivers, depending on how the series organisers rulings go; Alessandro Nannini, Stefano Modena, Roberto Moreno, Michele Alboreto.

1-It will be all run by the creator or it's 'online' (since I don't own a GP3 copy)

If the first question is correct, will take Arrows, with Ivan Capelli and Roberto Moreno as drivers

Disputed. I asked for Moreno first. Clearly there is some kind of system in place that isn't being explained to us...

Every team gets a mail with possible driver (and other) options and from those you can pick. At least that's what I'd guess.

March is interested in signing Riccardo Patrese alongside Daggers Dagnall for 1989. If we can't get one of them, then we'll sign Big Mo as their replacement.

Nah, eichy has taken Brabham. Which leaves you the grand choice of Coloni, Eurobrun and Zakspeed. :lol:
