Even though it obviously leaves some tainted victories intact (Singapore 2008), I'm happy that F1 results can't be changed after the end of a season. In my opinion, it's ridiculous for the winner of an event to be disqualified years later. We should know the results immediately after an event is over or at least within a week if someone is found to have cheated. I don't think the cyclists are going to celebrate their inherited victories from years ago.

Hmmm... I think I might do a recalculation of everything if MSC was stripped of all its results, beginning with 1991, naturally. Treat this as a sort of an alternative championship:
Italy
-Piquet scores 2 points, not 1.
-de Cesaris scores 1 point.
Portugal
-Mauricio Gugelmin scores 1 point.
Spain
-Mauricio Gugelmin scores 1 point.
Overall changes
-Nelson Piquet scores 27.5 points. He's still 6th in the championship.
-Andrea de Cesaris scores 10 points. He's still 9th in the championship.
-Mauricio Gugelmin scores 2 points. He finishes 18th in the championship (originally NC).
-Benetton scores 35.5 points. Still 4th in the championship.
-Jordan scores 14 points. Still 5th in the championship.
-Leyton House scores 3 points. Finishes 11th in the championship (originally 12th).

Edit: Jan magnussen to I think. He scored a 6th at Canada 1998 (now turns into 5th) and I think he finished 7th at Monaco 1997 (which would be a 6th). Actually, he would still be a reject yes?

Taken from homepage:
All a former Formula One driver needs to do to escape eligibility for this site is to have been successful in F1. Specifically, they must have scored ...
• a 4th, 3rd, 2nd or 1st place, or
• a 5th place, plus any other top-6 result, or
• three or more 6th places
How hard can that be? Very!
So yes, Magnussen scrapes it.

Fabrizio Barbazza would also be unrejectified, he had a legit sixth in Donington 1993 (no change) and another in Imola (changes to 5th). Luca Badoer would also score a point in Imola.

That's what i'm saying. We don't seem to care much about him as it is. We'll care even less when he gets that 3rd top 6 finish.
I'm not saying I don't like him, cause I do. But there's so many drivers that interest me more, such as Button, Raikkonen, Schumacher, Webber etc.

What is it about Paul Di Resta that's so uninteresting? Is it the almost total absence of personality? He makes Lewis Hamilton seem like Timmy Mallet.

If Di Resta's Scottish accent was a fair bit stronger, i'd find him a lot more interesting.

I have actually been impressed with Di Resta's performance since the start of 2011. Scoring points in one's first two races is a rare achievement, one has to be a good driver to do that (even if the points in Australia came after the Saubers were disqualified). He almost made it three in a row, finishing eleventh in China. I have seen people claim that Di Resta was destroyed by Sutil last year but that is simply not true. For a rookie coming from DTM, being so close to his more experienced team mate was already impressive. And if we consider that Di Resta had a lot of bad luck, we will see that he was actually very close to Sutil.
Australia: Sutil was ninth, Di Resta tenth. However, Di Resta would have beaten Sutil if he hadn't been told to let him past twice for strategical reasons.
Britain: Sutil was eleventh, Di Resta fifteenth. Di Resta lost a sixth place with a horrible pit stop. Sutil's pit stop cost him a couple of points as well but he wouldn't have beaten Di Resta.
Germany: Sutil was sixth, Di Resta thirteenth. Di Resta could have scored points if he hadn't been hit by Heidfeld on first lap.
Without these, the points gap between Di Resta and Sutil would have been a lot smaller than it was. This year, Di Resta and Hülkenberg have been closely matched with Di Resta performing better in the first few races and Hülkenberg recently beating him.

Re: If Michael Schumacher were Lance Armstrong...
There wouldn't be a Pizzonia profile in progress, as his 3 7th places in 2004 would become 6th places, his 7th in 2005 would still be a 7th place.
Liuzzi would also be out of reject status. His 6th place at Korea would become a 5th. Which would just be enough to unrejectify him.

...people would understand the significance that Luca Badoer played at Ferrari a whole lot more than they do now.

Shouldn't Mansell have 14 points? 10 for the win in Australia + 4 for what becomes a 3rd in Japan. SO Williams should have 141 not 140.
