In that case I'm assuming that Hamilton's stats when/if he gets back in F2RWRS will be based on his RoLFS results.

Nah. They'll be based on the stats I gave him last year, which in turn were based on his F3RWRS results.

Speaking of the F2RWRS, if Marchesi keeps his whining up, Mr Hamilton might find himself back in an F2RWRS car earlier than most expected

And while you're at it, how's the GP4 version of Bathurst going?

If I get the time, would anyone be interested in video coverage for one of the San Marino races?

As for the performance system, I'll stick with the race performance points for now but I wouldn't mind a discussion with everyone to decide on a new version for next season.

Cool, I'll make sure I practise my commentary/radio-style voice...

EDIT: I go through loads of video recording programs, none of which worked with GP2. I then found out DOSBox can record videos...[insert kostas' facepalm smiley here]

I have a question - would there be a problem with running a driver in both F1RDS and F3RWRS at the same time? Alessandro Lucarelli has been AWFUL so far this year while Bjorn Ekdal has been superb here. So could Ekdal theoretically do at least some races if not all remaining ones in F3RWRS plus the whole F1RDS season?

Wasn't there a problem with Lucarelli's performance file?

He was still crap after it was apparently "corrected" anyway. And he's like 24 or 25 already so if he doesn't pull a championship out of his arse this season his career is as good as finished. Kremnicky is SEVENTEEN and is one step ahead on the Road to F1RWRS and championship favourite and won THREE TIMES in his debut season after missing TWO THIRDS OF IT due to injury! Meanwhile Crescenzi is still in his teens so I can be more patient with him and he showed promise at Christopherson Racing last year & has been consistently quicker than Lucarelli this season, even after the performance file was corrected.

Actually, I didn't correct it until after I'd finished the race, because I was a few laps in when the issue came up. Rest assured, its fixed now, so he should be closer to Crescenzi in qualifying (his race performance was fine, he did similar lap times to Crescenzi in race 2.)

Well that is interesting, the reason I asked was that Dinella, a complete rookie, was on comparable pace to him and finished in the top 10 in the first race! We'll have to see how old Eric goes in the next race or two. ;)

Well, Wizzie picked up on the rule so it rules this move out. It would also be hard to keep track of, because Ekdal wouldn't be able to do Brands Hatch or Istanbul (maybe others too?) due to clashes with other races.

But as TMLW said, he hadn't entirely fixed Lucarelli's performance so I'd imagine he'd improve a little...

EDIT: I'll try and make some room next week for the San Marino race, but what with starting university and all I'll be quite busy with lots of drinking...but I could try to get up early one morning and run them.

From the start it was clear that we didn't have quite the same pace as in Adelaide, but the lads put in 4 good performances to make sure we scored some points. Gary's 4th place in race 1 kept his title hopes alive, and for both Gary and Alexis to finish in the points in Race 2 was fantastic, even if it was for 9th and 10th! The good thing about having 3 races under our belt now is that we can start to see who our title contenders will be for th upcoming year. Nurminen have a good car when it works, Autodynamics and Autobahn GP looks trong, and of course you can never quite write off Scuderia Alitalia. It's a little hard to see where we stand among the front-runners, but I'm certain that we're up amongst them and that this season will be a thriller!

Not at all. There are no special accents for English, so it's not necessary. For a while, I had a QWERTY keyboard, which made typing correct French pretty much impossible without the accents.

Completely unrelated point: tommykl, do you have seperate keyboards for English and French?

Not at all. There are no special accents for English, so it's not necessary. For a while, I had a QWERTY keyboard, which made typing correct French pretty much impossible without the accents.

Thanks, I was just wondering whether or not French characters infringed on the English ones. And coming to realise it, that train of thought was a pretty stupid one!
