Vitaly tapped the wall with his right rear and bounced off, he then opened DRS and speared in to the wall much harder and broke the right rear suspension completley. He then causes a red flag by blocking the pitlane ending the session.
And to cap it all off, you had Alguersuari giggling away at the replay of the incident

For overtaking under red flag in practice, he has a 20 second race time penalty and a days community service to take, along with his race engineer.
He picked the wrong time to overtake.

Not the first time community service has been handed out. Schumacher had to do a load of 'road-safety' talks after being DQ'd from the 1997 Championship. Schumacher, 1997 and road-safety. Irony...

Not been as impressive this season at all. Although he has been alongside Perez.

Glock wasn't far behind Kovalainen either must be said.

Vettel in the 1:44s?! Bathplug.
Nah. It was only a mid 46.
I could have sworn that the graphic said 1:44
Apparently, Webber impeded Tim O'Glock in Q1. Oh boy.

Massa really could've been doing with getting through. I wonder if he's the only person that believes that Ferrari might actually retain him for next season.

6 minutes in, three cars have set a time. Pathetic really.

Williams must be so frustrated with Maldonado. He's fast but he's prone to crashing when he's racing up front.

As I have said, Senna is pulling a total Massa at Williams just without the Alonso to make people notice - and when Maldonado brings it, you just see how bad it is. Good job by Maldonado, let's hope he can keep it together for tomorrow.
Will be interesting to see whether Hamilton dominates the race again like in Monza or whether it will get difficult for him. It all depends on the start, really.
